Saturday February 7

Good Morning!
The weather is still supposed to be nice today with a high of 64. We ended up bbqing last night for supper...that sure was a February treat.
I slacked on my coupon sorting last night as I got too into cutting the quilt squares. I still have quite a few to get cut yet today to cut all of the material that I have. I think the hardest part is going to be getting them sewn together. I have to figure out how to fill bobbins again on my machine before I even start on that part.
I guess today's plans include cutting the rest of the squares, updating some squidoo lenses, my usual posts on gather and then all the email I can get done.

Here is a gather post I did on a small shopping trip. I'm shopping tomorrow but buying meat so not sure how well I can really do. Small Shopping Trip 2/4/08

I updated my lensography on squidoo yesterday. It looks so much nicer now the way I have my other lenses listed. I hope you will check it out. Next update will add more lenses that I've made and an updated photo of my grandson Cash. Marsha's Lensography

For now, for some reason I got super tired, so I think I will lay down for just a bit before getting lunch. Have a great Saturday!
Marsha

Friday February 6

Good Morning! Here we are to Friday again. Today's high is supposed to be 72. Looks like highs in the 50's with rain in the next few days. Still great weather for winter for sure.

I don't have any real plans for today. I finished the plarn shopping bag while Heather was at the dentist. I worked on coupons while watching Grey's Anatomy last night and will do the same this evening while I watch Ghost Whisperer.
I told Steve yesterday that I will try to get quilt squares cut today with the cutter that he bought me....guess that needs to be in my plans.

Here is a book review post on gather of Rich Kid Smart Kid. Rich Kid Smart Kid I shared the squidoo lens on it yesterday.

I'm not going to feature a squidoo lens today. I'm working on updating all of them, adding modules along the way. They say part of being a giant squid is keeping your lenses fresh.

Thursday February 5

Good Morning! Once again, housework for the day is pretty much done. The weather forecast is saying highs in the 60's today and Friday and Saturday. Sunday and Monday it says highs in the 50's with rain. Rain in the winter, isn't that strange?

Heather has a dentist appointment this afternoon. I can't decide if I want to take a book to read or take this shopping bag and get it finished up. I have to cut a few more bags and make the straps is all I have left to do.
I will work on sorting coupons while I watch Grey's Anatomy this evening.

Here is one of my gather posts from yesterday...it's about the newest gift that Steve has bought me. And something I will mess with tomorrow as he's going to expect to see something done with it LOL Look What Steve Bought Me Now

47 lenses complete on squidoo! Here is the link to the book review lens that I made yesterday. I am also busy updating lenses as I go along. I think I might just be getting the hang of this. Rich Ki Smart Kid by Robert T. Kyosaki--Book Review

Have a wonderful day,
Marsha

Wednesday February 4

Good Morning. I say that although as with most nights I just could not get to sleep last night. I'm going to have to learn to do something productive in those hours of not sleeping. I am tired enough to sleep but can't get my brain to shut off the thinking.
I think I will head back to bed after typing this.
I have about 5 posts I can do on gather today plus put in some photos. I have the book review squidoo lens to get built and then at least one other lens updated.
I have the plarn shopping bag to crochet on. I've not kept up with my listing goal on blujay so I need to get back to work on that...can't sell it if it's not listed.
I've pretty much done my housework for the day today and have coupons ready to go shop the current sale at the grocery store.

For today I will share the photo essay I did on Elizabeth's 23rd birthday. I only got 4 photos taken. Elizabeth's 23rd Birthday February 1

I got another squidoo lens built yesterday on Sample Gal, which is another business that I am affiliated with. It's my 46th lens, only 4 more to go. I will be doing the book review one, then starting one on Jasmine's lapbooks as soon as she finishes the one she started yesterday. I'm so close to getting to the 50! Sample Gal

I'm off, a lot to get done today! I'm glad for all that I do to keep myself busy.

Have a great "hump day",
Marsha

Tuesday February 3

Good Morning! Well, you know the weather..unpredictable...our high of 49 for today changed now to 37. They are now showing 45 for tomorrow, 64 for Thursday, 73 for Friday and 68 for Saturday. Those sure will be nice if the forecast holds up.

I got through crocheting the green into my shopping bag, and got several more white bags cut up. I will work on that as time permits today. It's bowling this evening so that cuts out a lot of my time. I finally got my Sample Gal stuff figured out and am heading from here to build a squidoo lens about it. Want to check out the page now? You can do so by going to Marsha's Sample Gal page

Here is another post that I did on gather on Sunday. This one is about some homemade cleaners that I made. Now I've Made Homemade Cleaner and Homemade Febreze

I finished reading a book last night. I will do a book review at both gather and squidoo on it, but doubt I will get that done today. Once done, after I build the Sample Gal lens today I will only need to build 3 more lenses before I can apply for Giant Squid.

Take care my friends, and until tomorrow, have a great day!
Marsha

Monday February 2

Good Morning! It's Monday again. Our weather is still looking nice with highs in the 40's today and tomorrow. High in the 50's Wednesday and highs in the 60's for Thursday and Friday. I think we traded winter weather with Texas!
I've been cleaning already this morning and only have a couple things left to do for the day...well, always more can be done.
I'm working on this shopping bag, but have found that the dress bag is a stickier plastic than the regular bags. It's going to be pretty, just going to take me longer to get the green crocheted through.

Here is a post that I put on gather yesterday about making my laundry soap. Getting Ready to Make Laundry Soap

I didn't do much but check in at squidoo yesterday. I have 2 lenses to get updated today. Let's see.....recently I updated my crafts lens so I will feature it today. Marsha's Crafts

Ok, I'm going to get the rest of this housework done...then I have 2 more posts to get onto gather as well as 3 photos. I made my goal of over 100 points yesterday!

Have a good day,
Marsha

Sunday February 1

Here it is February 1. Today is my oldest daughters birthday. She is 23 today. Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

I did end up getting some cleaning done yesterday afterall, and I'm working on laundry right now. I will need to make laundry soap today. Despite what my mother thinks about it, why should I buy it when I have the ingredients to make it?

I got a lot of the plarn cut and made yesterday for my next shopping bag. I think it will be pretty as I found a large light green dress bag to cut up. Below is a photo of the blue and white bag that I have up for sale on blujay.

Here is my weekly Mail Call post on gather. I think I had a great mail week, I got something every day I think. Mail Call! Week of January 25

And, as promised, I made the squidoo lens on our Kansas Lapbook. I hope you will take a look. We will make more then I have to decide if I will do a separate lens on each one, or a combination lens. Kansas Lapbook

Until tomorrow, have a very blessed Sunday.
Marsha

Saturday January 31

Here we are to the last day of January. Tomorrow is Superbowl. Any plans for Superbowl? I am not in to sports but I bet it will be on my tv all day anyway LOL
The weather here is good today, with a high of 68, but tomorrows high is supposed to drop down to 46. As I seen in someone's post on gather yesterday, no wonder everyone is sick...crazy weather.

Today I am going to get crocheting on another plarn shopping bag. As far as the computer I'm going to do all I can to catch up on gather posts. I don't plan any real cleaning today, that will come tomorrow.

Jasmine and I finished her first lapbook yesterday on Kansas. Here is a photo of the front of it. I will be building a squidoo lens on it later today...then as we make more, those will all go into one squidoo lens.

I think I will give you a break today and not share a squidoo lens. I have to update the unschooling journey one today and build the one on the lapbook.

I'm going to run now and get going on things. I hope your Saturday is awesome!
Marsha

Friday January 30

Good morning! It's Friday!
I got my wireless router in and hooked up yesterday. Now I am ready when I do get that laptop but I have a lot of saving up yet to do to reach that goal.
We ended up spending hours yesterday working on cleaning and organizing my mom's house here so I didn't get a whole lot of internet time. Sometimes you just have to do that.
I'm still working in my own group on gather...clearing content that has 25+ comments and posting 10 posts a day that don't have that many yet. It's really kind of fun and I am seeing content that I've missed along the way in the process.

Today is the final day of the Sweetheart Celebration at Under The Rainbow. I'm not presenting, but will spend most of my day there. I've been drawn to win 3 prizes, that is really cool. I think I will get the other 2 magnetic bracelets made and listed on blujay today. Otherwise I am going to work on cleaning around my desk area while I sit here.

I sold 3 auctions at homeschoolbuy recently, so I want to make my featured squidoo lens to be about that site today. It's a nice site, with a great owner who is always there to help when you need it. Homeschool Buy

I'm off for now, trying to get through all my paid to clicks and things before the online party starts.

Have a great Friday and an awesome start to your weekend.
Marsha

Thursday January 29-Happy Birthday Kansas!

Good Morning. It warmed up enough yesterday to mels almost all the snow from Monday and Tuesday. Now, if every winter was like this one,I suppose I wouldn't complain too much. I like the snow, as it's beautiful, just don't like the wind and cold that comes with it.

Today is Kansas' 148th Birthday. I'm going to have Jasmine make a lapbook on Kansas, so I've been busy in between internet stuff and cleaning getting some stuff rounded up for her to work with. Going next to print off some things for her lapbook.

My coupon routine is getting messed up because of the online parties this week. Monday and again Friday I won't get off of here to work on them while I watch my shows. I will this evening though while I watch Grey's Anatomy. I did go through coupons yesterday to shop the sale at the store, and I was glad for the ones that I did have organized that were easy to find.

I think for today I will feature my lens on our unschooling journey. I've not share it since adding some photos. It really makes it stand out. I also realized just how long the lens would be if I indeed do all 52 weeks in one lens. I've decided to make it into 5 different lenses over the span of the year, with 10 week in all but the last one. Our Unschooling Journey

Have a great Thursday!
Marsha
