Today is the day! I hope to see some of you pop in to check out our online party. I present from 7-8 pm CST.
This will be short. No school today due to the danger of too much snow on the roofs and I way overslept when I have so much to get done today. I need to do all I can on here plus complete crocheting this plarn shopping bag to get it up for sale before my party time. I've done my Monday cleaning upstairs...that took me a couple of hours.

Good Morning! Here we are to Friday again. Today's high is supposed to be 72. Looks like highs in the 50's with rain in the next few days. Still great weather for winter for sure.
I don't have any real plans for today. I finished the plarn shopping bag while Heather was at the dentist. I worked on coupons while watching Grey's Anatomy last night and will do the same this evening while I watch Ghost Whisperer.
I told Steve yesterday that I will try to get quilt squares cut today with the cutter that he bought me....guess that needs to be in my plans.

I'm not going to feature a squidoo lens today. I'm working on updating all of them, adding modules along the way. They say part of being a giant squid is keeping your lenses fresh.

Good Morning! It's Monday again. Our weather is still looking nice with highs in the 40's today and tomorrow. High in the 50's Wednesday and highs in the 60's for Thursday and Friday. I think we traded winter weather with Texas!
I've been cleaning already this morning and only have a couple things left to do for the day...well, always more can be done.
I'm working on this shopping bag, but have found that the dress bag is a stickier plastic than the regular bags. It's going to be pretty, just going to take me longer to get the green crocheted through.

Here it is February 1. Today is my oldest daughters birthday. She is 23 today. Happy Birthday Elizabeth!
I did end up getting some cleaning done yesterday afterall, and I'm working on laundry right now. I will need to make laundry soap today. Despite what my mother thinks about it, why should I buy it when I have the ingredients to make it?
I got a lot of the plarn cut and made yesterday for my next shopping bag. I think it will be pretty as I found a large light green dress bag to cut up. Below is a photo of the blue and white bag that I have up for sale on blujay.

Here we are to the last day of January. Tomorrow is Superbowl. Any plans for Superbowl? I am not in to sports but I bet it will be on my tv all day anyway LOL
The weather here is good today, with a high of 68, but tomorrows high is supposed to drop down to 46. As I seen in someone's post on gather yesterday, no wonder everyone is sick...crazy weather.
Today I am going to get crocheting on another plarn shopping bag. As far as the computer I'm going to do all I can to catch up on gather posts. I don't plan any real cleaning today, that will come tomorrow.
Jasmine and I finished her first lapbook yesterday on Kansas. Here is a photo of the front of it. I will be building a squidoo lens on it later today...then as we make more, those will all go into one squidoo lens.
I think I will give you a break today and not share a squidoo lens. I have to update the unschooling journey one today and build the one on the lapbook.

It's hard to believe it's Saturday, seems this week has just flown by!
It's gotten mighty cold outside with the wind, but so far none of the ice they care calling for.
I started myself on a never ending project in my own gather group. Removing content that has reached 25 comments and featuring that content that hasn't made it yet. 411 pages of posts alone to go through, so I have no clue when I will get to the videos and photos!
I did get my coupons done up through the letter K while I watched Ghost Whisperer last night. This seems to be a pretty good thing to do to sort coupons while I watch my shows away from the computer.
Somehow my crochet hook has disappeared with only one strap left to make on the shopping bag. I need to have that done and listed on blujay before Monday when I do my first online party for the Sweetheart Celebration. (see the button above, it's going to be lots of fun.)

I also built a book review squidoo lens on it as well. A Dangerous Affair Book Review I do hope that you will check them both out. This is my 44th lens so 6 more to go before the end of March to apply for Giant Squid.

Good Morning! The wind really picked up yesterday 40-50 mph the news said and I would believe it as it was almost strong enough to knock me over.
I didn't get my coupons worked on at all yesterday. I got involved in cleaning the house and other things on the computer. I won't get to them yet today either. It's bowling night so that takes away hours. I ended up being called in to work last night to do child care for a meeting. I enjoy doing the child care though so I don't mind.
Yesterday I looked up patterns to crochet headbands. I'm going to give those a try and see how they do. I'm thinking making 3 to put up for sale as a set, in 3 different colors.
I need to get the rest of these bags cut and made into plarn today for making my next shopping bags.
Even the best laid plans go awry as they say and I know it's true. Sometimes it's hard when you know what you want to do but things get in the way and you don't get them done.
I did 2 extra posts on gather yesterday, one for a daily instant win game and another for free sunflower seeds.
Today's squidoo lens in the one I made on crafts that I have made for gifts. I've updated it to add the quilt I had made for my mom for Christmas. Although I didn't make it myself it was still a craft that I gave as a gift (and that I still owe money on!) Crafts As Gifts

Good Morning! We've almost made it to the end of 2008.
The weather has been very pleasant over the past few days. Today's high is 55. It was so nice yesterday that we were able to send the kids out to play for awhile while I fixed lunch. I am soaking it in and being so thankful that it's not freezing.
I'm sitting here sorting through my mom's postcard collection preparing to list them for sale on blujay. It's quite interesting as they date back to 1942 so far. Apparently the military wasn't required to attach postage when writing home either.
I won't share a Christmas photo essay from gather today. Instead I really want to share the photos of the plastic bag shopping bag that I crocheted. I got it completed yesterday and I am very pleased with the results. Shopping Bag Crocheted with Plarn is Complete
I'm off on a business call for Under the Rainbow Gifts so calling it a day here.
