Frugal Friday With Marsha--Week in Review
Welcome to the first Friday in April, which is also Good Friday.
Are you ready for Easter? I'm ready for Easter itself, but not for the family gathering.
We will meet at our house. Hopefully all 4 of my children will be here. I know that my 3 daughters will be as well as 9 of the grandchildren.
It will be a good day of family, church, and celebrating the risen Christ.
This week has seemed to have flown by. It's double coupon week at KMart this week. I only had the opportunity to shop once, but I am going to be happy about that. Now that I'm more familiar with it and have more coupons, I can look forward to it each time they have it.
I spent $2.50 out of pocket for what you see in the picture. If you would like to see the breakdown, you can read it HERE in my bubblews post.
I shopped at Target too. Nothing to really brag about as I did spend $17.68 for what is in the picture, plus an additional dust pan that I gave my daughter. However, I only used gift cards that I've earned or gotten back for purchases and I received back $10 in gift cards for my purchases.
I also added a few more things to my Christmas stash. Again, if you would like to see the full breakdown, you will find it HERE in my bubblews post.
Back to Easter. Family gatherings are a shared cost. Each family brings part of the meal. I'm sure many families do it this way and it means that no one is having to pay out all of the expense.
Hubby and I got the ham, one daughter is supplying all of the candy for the egg hunt, another daughter is bringing the fruit and veggies, my sister-in-law is bring salad. Not sure yet what the other are bringing but it's going to be good eating and plenty of it.
How has your week been?

I'm disappointed in myself for not really earning much in March, but it wasn't for lack of trying.
Here is what I earned online in March 2015:
Swagbucks: $42 in gift cards (amazon, Target, and Walmart)
PerkTV: $35 in gift cards (amazon, Target, and Walmart)
Pinecone Research: $12 paypal
Apptrailers: $5.52 paypal (if you sign up, bonus code predictableuranus2 for bonus points)
Hausernet mail decoy: $10.25
Shopkick: $4 Target gift cards
Walmart Savings Catcher: $7.68 to spend at Walmart
instantcashsweepstakes: $3.58
Savingstar: $5.54 paypal
viewpointforum: $10.13 check
This comes to a total of $135.70 received in March.
As far as what I call Gifts Galore and More (selling my crafts, and used books mostly) I had a profit of $12.93. This takes my grand total to $148.63 earned (paid) in March.
If you are a regular reader then you know that I am working on some other things right now. I look forward to seeing what my total will be for April.

Writer's Unite 4/2/15
It's so hard for me to believe that April is already here!
I am trying to keep up with my blog posts. For a time I didn't have any giveaways at all, now I'm having trouble keeping up. I have 2 more at the moment to get up with reviews, and then one book review to do as well.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing at all. I love getting the products in for the reviews and the giveaways. I love being able to have my readers to be winners.
Bubblews is still the only place I am writing other than my blog. I'm down to writing just 2 or 3 posts a day. I'm happy that some of my regular connections there are still writing, but it seems to be fewer all the time, and those are also writing less. I really do want the site to succeed and always be there for us, but the mojo has left for many of us.
I'm reading bad news about other writing sites all the time--people who are having their hubpages deleted without notice, Elitevisitors not paying, then changing hands and still not paying, several of the other new ones not making it from the get go.
I didn't choose to go with hubpages from squidoo due to hearing that they were pretty tough, and I couldn't figure out how to earn since I don't have adsense.
I didn't choose to 'hop on the bandwagon' going and signing up at all these other writing sites as my heart wasn't in it.
Where are you writing these days and being successful? Can you share how the earning is at different writing platforms--mostly those that will allow me to 'write my world' as bubblews does?
I look forward to what you share this week.

New Purex Crystals Scentsplash--Review and Giveaway
Purex has done it again! This time it's Purex Crystals Scentsplash.
Due to be released in stores in April, so be on the lookout.
It's the Crystals that we all love, but in a liquid form. It will also do 35% more loads than the solid crystals as well.
Scentsplash comes in these scents for irresistible fragrance that lasts:
Fresh Spring Waters
Fresh Lavender Blossom
Fresh Mountain Breeze
I would love to try all 3 scents, but I am happy that they chose to send me the Fresh Lavender Blossom as it has been my favorite in the past.
Those of you who read my blog often know that I mostly hang my clothes out on the line to dry.
I love how the Scentsplash scent just radiates from them!
I find myself just sniffing my laundry--weird, I know, but I can't help it!
The cap has 2 measures. You can use as little or as much as you like. I tend to go right in between the lines for a regular sized load. It goes directly into the washer just as the solid crystals do.
Three lucky Marsha's Spot readers will each with a free coupon for Purex Crystals Scentsplash. Enter using the rafflecopter below and good luck!
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Traffic Exchanges Report
License: CC0 Public Domain
/ FAQ Free for commercial use / No attribution required
If you recall, last week I posted about Gladiator Hits.
I talked about how it as well as the other exchange, Traffic Dynamite, that I had been doing both offered downline builders and a surf center. I had the thought of trying out their exchange surfing schedule.
I set out to join the sites in the surf center.
I stopped at joining 4 of them. Two of them I am really enjoying, the other 2 didn't have the things that I look for---chat feature, jackpot, cash prizes while surfing along with the credit prizes.
I surfed Gladiator Hits and Traffic Dynamite every day of the week, logging in each day as well as tweeting my referral link each day.
I also did the same for the 2 exchanges that I joined. I'm enjoying all 4 exchanges.
The banners for the other 2 will be at the bottom of this post if you are interested in checking them out.
I will always offer to transfer credits to anyone who signs up under me to help get your sites and such seen faster and more.
Here are my earnings for each exchange for the week:
Traffic Dynamite-- $1.61
Gladiator Hits-- .82
BharatSurf -- $2.27
ProtrafficShop $1.02
for a total of $5.72
No, I'm not getting rich, but I am getting my blog as well as several of my other paid to clicks and my crafts seen along the way.
I'm surfing every day this week and I will give another report next week as well.
Please note that $1.85 of my $2.27 from BharatSurf came from a $1.85 sign up bonus. This bonus is available using the code promo185 until 2600 members. As of this writing there are 2,572 members so still time to get the bonus! If you join, click in to the Traffic Exchange area then into the Promo Codes area. Nice bonus for signing up!
