Check Out New Purex Plus Clorox 2 and Enter to Win a Free Coupon

New Purex plus Clorox 2 is formulated to remove the toughest stains.  Will remove 100 stains!
It contains 3 stain-fighting enzymes and will remove stains such as starchy stains like chocolate and tomato sauce, protein-based stains like grass and blood, and food stains that use guar gum like ice cream and BBQ sauce.

It's been available in the market since March and comes in 2 fragrance choices:  Original Fresh and Sunny Linen.

We've been using Original Fresh and really enjoying it.  That is our scent of choice in the Purex line, but I can't wait to try Sunny Linen too, especially since we do hang our clothes out on the line to dry.

One thing my mom noticed right away is that there is no Clorox smell to it.  In fact, she really loves that the scent is not over powering.  As I stated, Original Fresh is our scent of choice.
Just this morning my mom came out of her room and asked if I had written this review.  She pulled her shirt away telling me that it really does brighten the clothes.    I told her that since she told me that she had to let me take a picture of her.

I noticed that the alter linens for communion at church are getting dingy white.  I can't wait to bring them home and wash them in the new Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent and get them back to white and bright!

Here is a stain fighting tip from Purex:  "Pretreat tough stains by rubbing some Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent into the fabric and letting it sit for 5 minutes before washing."

3 lucky Marsha's Spot readers will each win a free coupon for Purex Plus Clorox 2.  Just enter using the rafflecopter form below.

WIP Wednesday--Moving Along

Here is the progress I've made on putting the blue and brown yo-yo's together.  I made more for it as well, but these are the connected ones so far.  I have put this aside as I work on projects that must be done by the end of this month.

Here is what I have of the black and white with red quilt top sewn together so far.  As I said last week, this is put away for now and undoubtedly will not be worked on again until the quilt retreat in July.

I've gotten in a little work on the yo-yo's for the boutique at the quilt show.  The ones made with the scarf type material are done with 50 in the bag.  I'm going to have to take the suggestion of a couple of gals and make my goal of 25 of each of the other fabrics instead of 50.

Last but not least this week, I have a good start on finishing the 9 microwave hot pads for the boutique at the quilt show.  I also finished a set of these in a larger size for a special order in my etsy shop.

Rectangle quilt

Liquid Savvy's New 18 oz. Insulated Bottle Just When I Needed It

As most of you know, I am going on a mission trip to Arizona in June.  On out list of what to bring is an insulated bottle for drinking.  I didn't have one that I liked, or thought would work.
Then comes Liquid Savvy.

This is their new 18 oz version of their stainless steel insulated water bottle.   It features 3 different choices of lids--flip top lid, integrated carabiner lid, and a tethered multi-purpose lid.
All 3 are leak proof.

In my picture you can't quite see all 3 lids, but they are shown in the first picture.

Other features include:
*The bottle is BPA-free.  The lids will not alter the flavor or leach plastic chemicals .  There are NO  phthalates, lead or other toxic materials.
*Powder-coated matte finish that never sweats.
*100% Lifetime Warranty.
*Two premium food grade 18/8 stainless steel walls combined with vacuum insulation that will keep your drinks cold for up to 24 hours and your hot drinks hot for up to 12 hours.

I'm really impressed with the quality of the Liquid Savvy bottle.  I've been showing it to several people who all agree.  It is going to do me well to keep my drink cold while we are building houses at the Immanuel Mission next month.

Check out the sale price too!
