Saturday January 24

It's hard to believe it's Saturday, seems this week has just flown by!
It's gotten mighty cold outside with the wind, but so far none of the ice they care calling for.
I started myself on a never ending project in my own gather group. Removing content that has reached 25 comments and featuring that content that hasn't made it yet. 411 pages of posts alone to go through, so I have no clue when I will get to the videos and photos!
I did get my coupons done up through the letter K while I watched Ghost Whisperer last night. This seems to be a pretty good thing to do to sort coupons while I watch my shows away from the computer.
Somehow my crochet hook has disappeared with only one strap left to make on the shopping bag. I need to have that done and listed on blujay before Monday when I do my first online party for the Sweetheart Celebration. (see the button above, it's going to be lots of fun.)

I finished reading A Dangerous Affair and did my book review on it on gather. A Dangerous Affair by Caro Peacock Book Review

I also built a book review squidoo lens on it as well. A Dangerous Affair Book Review I do hope that you will check them both out. This is my 44th lens so 6 more to go before the end of March to apply for Giant Squid.

For now I am back to my gather work, and looking for that crochet hook! Have n awesome Saturday.

Friday January 23

Good Morning! It got windy and cold out and they say as the day goes by it will get windier and colder bringing in some freezing rain that will last through Tuesday. I did some shopping yesterday, but think I better send my daughter to the store for a few gallons of milk and a couple loaves of bread so we can avoid going out on the ice if need be.
I didn't get a lot of time on the computer yesterday, but still did get some things done. Cleaning the house wasn't one of them, so I am setting the timer today for 15 minutes of cleaning, then doing some work on the computer. I will do this for as long as it takes to whip this basement back in to shape. My daughter and her boyfriend are working on cleaning out the middle bedroom upstairs to make that their bedroom for now.

Speaking of my grocery shopping, I just posted at gather on what I got and how much I saved etc. Dillon's Buy 10 Get an Additional $5 off Sale

For today's squidoo lens I want to feature the one I made featuring our pets. It's cute and over time I will update the photos. Meet Our Pets

It's back to work on the house, but have a great weekend and stay warm!

Thursday January 22

Good Morning.
Today's plans include going to get commodities this morning if my daughter will wake up to give me a ride. Last time they had run out of food to give out by the time we got there. (this is done, stopped typing when they got up, so we did get our food)
I am volunteering in Ariel and Araya's classroom at Headstart today.
I will sort coupons this evening while I watch Gray's Anatomy. I actually have them all cut out and in my sorting box.
I just have the straps to get made for the plarn shopping bag. I should be able to get that finished today too.
I am also hoping they will take me to do some grocery shopping after school is out. I have my list and coupons ready for the sale.

I joined The Bar yesterday through Marketing Pond. It looks very interesting and Valerie talks up the possiblities. With only a $10 minimum to get paid you can earn quickly without any referrals, but get referrals and the sky is about the limit on what you can earn with it. I hope you will check it out and join. Join The Bar to Earn!
This may or may not work, I am getting a redirect error. If you are interested in joining under me, please leave me a comment and I will send you an email referral. Thanks!

For today I will feature the squidoo lens that I built on gather. Take a look see. I list what I've redeemed for, gotten free, or won as a prize in the lens. It is truly the best site out there. Gather--the Best in Social Networking

Woo Hoo! Tomorrow is Friday and the start of the weekend. I'm going to wish you all an early good start to the weekend.

Wednesday January 21

Good Morning! Once again I had trouble sleeping last night and I didn't get out of bed until almost 9 am. I've been moving and doing things ever since. My spirits are up due to some things that happened yesterday.

The weather is still nice here and they've upped the high on Friday to 41 instead of the 18 they did have. They are showing a high of 31 for Saturday and Sunday. I, for one am very thankful for the warmer winter weather we've been having since I get cold so easy.

I have so much to do! I picked up loads and loads of plastic bags from a gal on the freecycle list. I got an envelope...large envelope of coupons in the mail yesterday form I don't know who. I need to get them looked through along with what else I have as the store is doing the buy 10 of the special items and get an additional $5 off your shopping order. This is always so much fun!

I did a post of gather on my freecycle adventure. Look What I got from the freecycle List!

Let's see...looks like I am up to featuring the squidoo lens that I made about Elvis. This one was built in honor of my mom since she is such a huge fan. It's another fun one with videos and information. Elvis for Mom

guess I better get on to these coupons and my shopping list so I can move on to getting these bags folded down and ready to cut. Have a blessed Wednesday.

Tuesday January 20

good morning!
It's going to be another nice day here in Kansas. By Friday it's supposed to drop way down and be cold again.

I feel I got a lot done yesterday. I put in a book listing on blujay, I crocheted on the plarn shopping bag, I got most of the coupons cut out, and I made a squidoo lens, which I will talk about a little later.

This evening is bowling, that is always fun. I'm supposed to pick up a bunch of bags from a lady on the way there. I have a dr. appt. this afternoon and may end up having to walk to it as I don't have a ride, nor do I have money to pay for a ride.

I'm going to share a recent video we did of Willo in the playroom. Jasmine took the video.
Ok, guess I won't as it is not working for me to copy the embedded code. I'm frustrated, but if you would like to take a look, please go to Willo In the Playroom Video

Now, on to squidoo. I built my 43rd lens yesterday. This one is just for fun...anime fun. I took the photos that Jasmine has saved on this computer so far and put them into a lens. It's pretty neat. I hope you will check it out. Anime Fun

Until tomorrow, have an awesome day,
Marsha

Monday January 19

Happy Monday and Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday. School are out and many are off work today.
I got busy doing other things on here this morning and just realized I hadn't typed my daily blog yet.
I've also been working on getting some cleaning done....it sure is endless with the 4 grandkids living here.

I will work on coupons this evening while I watch Secret of the American Teenager. I really like that show. I'm going to be working on crocheting this plarn shopping bag while I do things on the computer.

I realize I forgot to share my weekly mail call post on gather. I had a pretty good week last week and hoping for the same or even better this week! Mail Call! Week of January 11

for today I will feature the lens that I made on Cello In a Box...another business I have been a part of for over 2 years. Cello In A Box

Now I'm going to run...lunch is already ready and I still have loads of things to get done today.

Have a great holiday Monday,
Marsha

Sunday January 18

Good Morning!
I did find a few minutes before church to type this for today. The kids are all gone except the baby. They got a ride to Sunday school. Now we wait for our ride.

I had fun with the kids yesterday afternoon. We played a couple of games of bingo. I have a canister of treats to use for prizes. Then we all played some games on the Game Wave. I need to get my bzz report written out for the gaming system..I am way behind on that.
I'm not real sure what I might do today. I know I want to watch the Cinderella type movies on abcfamily this evening. I need to get more coupons cut and sorted. A new pile came in today's paper. They always can keep my busy. I need to get busy crocheting on the next shopping bag so that I can get it listed in blujay before the celebration at Under the Rainbow later this month.

I did get a squidoo lens built yesterday (believe it or not). This one is on Guns N' Roses. I had a lot of fun building it and listening to the songs as I did. I hope you will check it out. Guns N' Roses Rock

Until tommorrow, have a very blessed Sunday,
Marsha

Saturday January 17

Good Morning. It already looks like it's going be a decent day outside. The sky is blue and there is no wind...as of yet anyway.
I don't have any real plans for today. I would like to find a ride to the hardware store to pick up some specials.
I did work on my coupons last night, but still not close to having them the way that I want them.
Tomorrow is the annual meeting and carry in dinner at church. I may not post tomorrow as I doubt I will be up early enough to get it done and we won't be back until a little later in the afternoon. I have one more year on the church council, then I must take a year off. If then asked to run again I'm just not sure. I suppose it depends on what all is going on in my life at that time. I missed the meeting this month. It was the week that I worked all week not expecting too and I totally forgot to call for a ride.

Let's see what we have to feature today at squidoo. How about my book review lens on WWJD For Kidz. Cute book, worth the look see. WWJD For Kidz Book Review
I got a couple of lenses updated yesterday. I will update our unschooling journey one this evening. I really need to get busy building the other 9 that I need to build.

I was just reading an email which looks like I missed a great Wife Swap last night. One family used coupons! they switched the show to Friday's at 7, which is he same time as I watch Ghost Whisperer. Darn them for doing that! Wife Swap is not one of the shows they offer for you to watch online. Ok, this upsets me!

I guess I will quit rambling and head out to do other things. Have a great weekend.
Marsha

Friday January 16

Good Morning and welcome to my 300th post on blogspot!
The snow is outside but they aren't calling for anymore. They are calling for a bit of a warm up each day over the next 4 days.

I didn't get my coupons done yesterday....sigh.....I got off the computer and worked on them while I watched Gray's Anatomy and will do the same this evening while I watch Ghost Whisperer.
I did get my federal income tax refund filed online, but not without a lot of frustration in trying to get it done.

I haven't really been posting much on gather other than my daily Investing for the Future and daily Helen Steiner Rice poem. I did put in 3 photos yesterday.

I need to get busy building more lenses over on squidoo. Since I was talking about Helen Steiner Rice I will feature that lens today. She has wonderful and inspirational Christian poetry. I share several in the lens. I hope you will take a look and enjoy. Helen Steiner Rice

I've done all my housework this morning so woo hoo! I have the rest of the day to do as I please past supper and some dishes.

Until tomorrow, have a glorious day!
Marsha

Thursday January 15

Good afternoon! I am really late posting this today.
My morning started out by looking out the window and finding snow. It's still coming down too.
I had to get a ride and pick up commodity food first thing this morning. Once home I started doing some housework. I then played a board game with Allen and Jasmine. Allen is out of school for conference time. Man, then it was time for lunch. The morning just flew by on me.

I did get some coupons cut out last night, but not many. I won't be working on any crafts today. Instead I am going to get done what I can with these coupons.
It's my payday though, so soon I need to find a ride to the bank, to pay on the cable bill and get just a few things at Family Dollar.

Now I stopped typing here and started filing my income tax refund. Yes, this is just what kind of day I am having.

I recently featured my squidoo lens on Hannah Montana, but I am doing so again today. I took a picure of the girls modeling their Hannah Montana shirts. When I went to add it to the lens I realized how dull the lens was, so I also added a couple more larger photos. I hope you will take another look. Hannah Montana for Ariel

Ok, really publishing this. You all stay warm, I am seeing it's super super cold up north.
