Wednesday September 10

So much for my non-busy day. I've already had to take my mom to pay the van payment, then to pay the water bill, then to pay the car insurance, and then to the store.
I went a little crazy at the store as they are offering on the Box Top and Label for Education items when you buy 15 you get an additional $3 off your grocery bill. You can do the offer up to 3 times in one transaction. I did it twice as I happened to have coupons with me for 30 items. Most items were also on sale. Along with my other groceries, sales, and coupons I spent $89 which was a savings of 42% so I don't think that I did bad at all.

I still have to take Jasmine to her dentist appointment in 1 1/2 hours.
We won't hear about approval or non-approval on the loan on that other van until sometime tomorrow. If you are reading this, pray for the best for us on this. I will really be disappointed if it doesn't go through. The people selling it lowered the price to $1000 so that we would have the other $200 to pay the taxes, tags and insurance.

I am not sure if I will get a chance to post tomorrow. The morning starts out taking my mom to get her commodity food, then I am off to work. Right after work I have to take Heather to her math tutoring. Then, my mom has her dr. appt. which right after that we have to get supper, then I am off to the church council meeting.
Friday isn't much better working 8-4. I will have to see what happens.

Tuesday September 9

I was right...we came home from the fair last night and I just took my bath and pretty much went to bed. I was exhausted! It was a good day for the time I got to spend with Jasmine but a bad day due to the weather. It was only 50 degrees and windy! I was so cold that my feet were cramping up and my hands were numb. I took lots of pictures as well as videos of the rides that the kids rode.
Today is another busy day. In less than 2 hours I have to be at work. Right after work Heather has her math tutoring and I will have to take my mom grocery shopping. This evening is bowling.
Thankfully they give the kids a day off of school tomorrow for the fair and the only appointment we have is Jasmine for the dentist. I plan on just relaxing on the computer tomorrow!

Sunday September 7

I'm late getting to my blog today. I got home from church and started in on trying to do all my paid to clicks and to post on gather.
After church I was taking my mom to deliver some Avon orders. At one house we seen a Silhouette van like what I have now except 3 years newer for $1200. A couple other people are trying to buy it but mom is going to check with the credit union tomorrow on a new loan and if she can get it and if it's not sold already by the time we find out, we plan on getting it. It's in so much nicer shape than what I am driving now.

Today I will share a photo essay I put together after Jasmine and I took a walk around the neighborhood. It was my last summer hoorah for bonus points for the photos. Last Summer Hoorah Photos

It hasn't rained yet today and the sun is peeking out of the clouds. THe forecast called for 30% chance today and a 40% chance for tomorrow. I hoping for no rain on our say trip to the state fair tomorrow. I won't be posting my blog tomorrow as I will be busy for over 12 hours with work and the fair. Once we get home I probably will just get a bath and fall in to bed.

Saturday September 6

Well, woke up to rain yesterday morning, and it was still raining when I went to bed last night. It just never stopped. I woke up this morning and it's still raining. According to the forecast it is to keep on raining through the end of Monday. Which, isn't good since that is the $1 day at the fair.
I am about to head to the farmer's market in the rain and hope to pick up a cantaloupe, a bag of apples and a bag of potatoes with my mom's last $6 in governement commodity certificates.
Otherwise I plan on just mostly working on my email today. With over 8,000 emails in my inbox I really need to get that cleaned out then try to keep up daily again. I haven't been caught up since we went to family camp late June/early July.

The summer pics promotion ended yesterday at 5:30 pm. I ended up putting in 350 photos total, which wasn't anything compared to lots of others who put in over 1,000 photos!

Friday September 5

My alarm went off at 6:45 as usual. I turned it off and went back to sleep, waking up at 8:15. Upon waking up I seen why I was sleeping so good....it's dark,cloudy and raining out this morning.
Good thing it's not next Friday when I have to be at work at 8:30 am!
There is nothing written in my planner today or tomorrow, so I hope to get a lot done around the house, and on the internet.

Thursday September 4

bbrrrr...I stayed chilly all day yesterday as the high only reached 67. I don't know what today will bring but it seems warmer. I sure hope so!
I will be heading to work soon. After work is Heather's math tutoring and then my mom's dr. appt. later in the afternoon. I sure hope that's it!
I worked on my room divider while I sat in the van waiting for my mom. I almost have it as far as I am going to make it.
I got in the mood to get back to some cleaning at 9 pm last night. The kids asked why I was cleaning so late. Well, better take advantage of the mood when it hits. The playroom is now almost transformed into a bedroom for Allen as well as being the playroom.

Today I will share my mail call gather post from last Saturday. I changed the name of it from Freebies to mail call since I post everything that I get. Mail Call! Week of August24

I am working on crocheting as many dish scrubbies for me friend as I can over the next couple of days. This way we will have a little money to spend on $1 day at the fair on Monday. Not sure how many I can find time to make, but any amount of money is better than none.

Wednesday September 3

It's a chilly, blustery day outside. So far the high is just 50 and only to get up in the low 70's. bbbrrrr for me. That's how we all know it's state fair time...it turns chilly in a hurry...the fair starts this coming Friday.
It's my mom's payday today so that takes care of my entire afternoon once I am off work. I plan on sorting coupons and crocheting on my "wall divider" while I am out with her.
Steve is off work tomorrow so he says he will stop by this evening to watch a movie or something.
In other words, yet another short day for internet time.

Tuesday September 2

I woke up this morning and realized that I didn't take my mom to the doctor yesterday. They must have been closed for the holiday. Unfortunately for me that adds to my already busy Tuesday schedule, but what can I do?
I started out this morning by taking my son to court on his fines..just a check in court on how he is doing paying them. I am home long enough to get some pictures in on gather and to write this up before I head to work. Right after work I have to take Heather to math tutoring. Then I am home for about 1 1/2 hours before taking my mom to the doctor. Once home from there we will have to hurry with supper before it's time for me to head out for bowling league.

Speaking of bowling...today I am going to share the pics I took last week. Bowling Time Photos

I better head off of here and get myself ready for work. Last Thursday I forgot to put my tennis shoes on and went to work in my sandals, which is a no-no!

Monday September 1 Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!
Good day today,...paid day off work...but bad that it is a no mail day.
I don't have any plans for today except to keep cleaning and organizing what I can here in the basement. Trying to figure out right now just what I am going to do with the stuff on the ping pong table until I am able to get a couple more shelving units to put it on.

I think today's only plans outside the house is my mom's Monday doctor appointment.
Our state fair starts Friday, we will go next Monday when it's $1 day. That whole week is going to just be exhausting!

Sunday August 31

Good afternoon.
We had a flash storm yesterday...seemed it just literally came out of the blue. I took some pics for summer pics at gather....have to make the most of every opportunity until the promo is over.

I got really busy on the basement and getting this stuff organized and then didn't want to stop. I'm about to get back at it. I'm thankful tomorrow is a holiday to give me another full day of working down here. My muscles are getting really sore moving all these boxes from place to place but it sure will be worth it once I am done.

I am finding a lot of things that I think we could sell if only we knew where to sell them. I think there might even be enough old stuff in these boxes to maybe even make enough money to fix the plumbing...again if only I knew where to sell the stuff.
