Sunday November 2

Good Sunday morning to all!
It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful today.
Yesterday I pulled up all the tomato plants from the garden. They were all but dead. The jalapenos, banana peppers and bell pepper plants are still growing, and I hope the freeze will stay away long enough for what is sprouting to be picked.

I completed my vision board last night, or as complete as it's going to be for now. I will share a photo of it when I am done reading the book and do my book review.

I didn't get the Halloween photos prepared and posted to gather, but I did get my weekly Mail Call post done. Mail Call! Week of October 24

I also built a squidoo lens on crafts as gifts. This lens is to share crafts that I have made as gifts with more to be added as I make more items that I give as gifts. Crafts As Gifts

Part of my vision board are the words CLEAN and ORGANIZED, so I started on that vision last night here in the basement. Once I get this basement cleaned and organized again I have told the kids it will stay that way! Also once I get it done down here I will start working on the mess upstairs. Another picture on my board is a nice kitchen. Mom's kitchen needs a lot of work to be the way that I want a kitchen to be. That will be the first place that I start upstairs.

Saturday November 1

Good Morning!
Here it is the 1st day of November already.
We had fun doing the trunk or treat at our church last night. You couldn't have asked for nicer weather! It's not been so nice on Halloween that I remember since my children were very young. After the trunk or treat we went to the church basement for a little eating and socializing. We had sloppy joes, chips and cheese dip, little smokies, and all kinds of cakes and such. After coming home and seeing that there were still literally 100's of kids still in our own neighborhood we walked around with the kids, not getting home until after 9 pm.

Today we will be going to the Baptist church where the kids go to Awanas. They are having a clothing drive. We donated 4 bags of clothing ourselves, but will still go look to see if there are any that we need.

I didn't get a post done on gather other than my morning post, and then I put in a video. I have plenty of photos from last night to get in to photo essays soon as well as do my weekly mail call post after the mail comes today.

I will share the other book review lens that I built. This one is on the book Superdove. I was fortunate to get it through gather to read and review. It's the only book this author has published so far and it's all about pigeons. Really an interesting book. I hope you will take a look. Superdove Book Review

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!
We got Allen off to school in his costume. I sent my camera with my daughter to get photos of him and his classroom. Now I wait for her to come back so I can see just what she gets.
We will have trunk or treat at our church this evening from 6-7:30 then afterwards go to the basement for games and fun for all. I look forward to the family time.
Jasmine, however, has her idea of what she wants to be, but there is no money to buy what she needs for make up and such. I feel bad but hopefully she can work on something today.

I got busy yesterday on here for sure. I went ahead and did decide to list the crafts I've been making in my blujay store. I got 6 items listed and will list as I get things done from now on. I also got the last 2 listings done on homeschoolbuy as well.

I got my latest book in from gather to read and review. It's called The Vision Board and so far is excellent and I feel it will really help me with my life and my goals. I also did post a little photo essay of the jack o' lantern that Heather and her bf carved. Jack O' Lantern by Heather and Adam

I also built 2 more lenses on squidoo!! They are both book reviews. The first is on the children's book Crash! Thursday October 30

Good Morning!
Yesterday the weather was so nice and it's supposed to stay sunny and in the 70's through Sunday. I sure hope it does, at least through tomorrow evening. We are doing truck or treat at my church so I don't want to freeze out there passing out candy like I did last year LOL

Today is Thursday. I am so so so so so thankful for another day off work! Heather will have her math tutoring this afternoon and my mom her doctor appointment, but that should be it.
I got 5 out of my 7 listings done on homeschoolbuy last night, so I will get the last 2 in today.

I sat and crocheted on dish scrubbies and washclothes while I worked on here yesterday. I have an online friend who want me to mail her some of my crafts that she can sell where she works for me. I am undecided on it. What happens to the stuff she can't sell? Plus I have to think of the cost to mail it to her. I'm thinking maybe I should just list them on blujay and call it good. I finally got the rss feed thing worked out on my blujay lens on squidoo.

Speaking of squidoo, I built my lens in honor of something my son loves, and that is legos. I have all the kids and grandkids favorites done now....and should do one on Elvis in honor of my mother. If you would like to check out the lego one you can go to Legos

Wednesday October 29

Good Morning!
I don't think there will be too much excitement today. I am off work. I hope to get these other 7 listings done on homeschoolbuy, build at least one more squidoo lens, and then do anything else that I can get done online.

At some point we have to get out and pay for new tags for the van...other than than, no plans outside the house. Woo Hoo! I'm going to think today is Friday LOL

I still haven't written anything but my daily post on gather, so today I would like to share again with you mycoolcontests.

I only logged in to winster yesterday but didn't have time to play. I didn't want to lose my 300 spins though. I will have 600 when I log in today but doubt that I use them all. It's a lot of fun to play too but a time waster since I can't have any other windows open at the same time due to that causing me a lot of lag.

Tuesday October 28

Good Morning.
I was wrong about the weather yesterday. It was cold and stayed that way. The wind was chilly. Today's high is 60 and they are still saying a high of 69 for Halloween but now they've added partly cloudy and breezy to the mix.

Today is Tuesday and as you know my busiest day of the week. I took Allen Jr. to school this morning. Soon enough I will head out to work. Instead of math tutoring today for Heather, she has a dentist appt. A little after that it's take my mom t her dr. appt. Home, a quick supper and off to the bowling alley.

Once again, I didn't post anything extra at gather. Instead, I spent a couple of hours putting together my lensography on squidoo. I hope you will check that out for me. Marsha's Lensography

I guess that is it for today...really need to get in my winster spins this morning....or at least log in maybe just to get them on there might be good for today since (yippee!!) this is my last day to work this week!! I will have more time to get the spins played.

Monday October 27

We've made it to another Monday as the month of October is coming to an end.
The weather just wasn't near as nice yesterday as it was Saturday...the darn wind was up all day bringing a chill with it. I think today will be much better.
No real plans today other than work, except a trip to the health dept. for a shot as soon as I get off work.
I sat last night and got 18 listing put in at homeschoolbuy. I have 7 more listings to go for now to complete what I got at the book sale. I have over 80 school related books for all ages listed if you would care to take a look. Marsha's Homeschoolbuy auctions

Yesterday the email notifications were all messed up at gather. We were only getting group notifications and not individual friends. I only work today and tomorrow this week, so I hope the rest of the week I am able to get a lot done on the computer...and hey, maybe I can convince my mom, and then help her get rid of some of that clutter upstairs.

Sunday October 26

Good Morning!
As you can see, I made it through yesterday. The kids and I had fun buying books at the library book sale. Once home I started getting them scanned or pics taken of them. I got 3 craft books listed in my blujay store. I have 20+ books sitting here beside me to list at homeschoolbuy. Not sure how many I will get in today since we do have church this morning and then Bible study this evening.
My daughter and I went to pick up our food orders from the Angel Food Ministry.
I got a call to come in earlier to help with the German fundraising dinner at my church. I spent 5 hours helping there. It was fun. Once home I was going to work on the books but did my spotwinner, mycoolcontests, and posted a couple of posts at gather.

The weather was great yesterday with a high of 77!! It's supposed to be in the high 60's through Halloween and I sure hope so.

Almost 8 am and Sunday school starts at 8:45 so I better run and get the kids ready to go.

Saturday October 25

Good Morning.
We made it through last night with no one sick (that I know of) I really figuredI would be typing this after my trip to the library book sale.
The granddaughters are waking up down here. I will wake Jasmine up when I am done typing this for her to go with me to the book sale.

I haven't been doing at gather what I should, so today I will share a video with you of some of Willo's first steps.


Since I won't have time this morning to play over at winster I'm going to head on in the msn live and play a few games there, then do winster once I am home. If you haven't checked out the msn live games, they are really neat and I've gotten in a lot of things with my points I earn to use towards Christmas, or other, gifts.

Friday October 24

Good Morning.
Not a good morning for Jasmine, she is sick to her stomach. It hit my oldest daughter earlier this week. I suppose we will all have to take our turn whether we like it or not.
The only plans I have for today is my flu shot this morning.
Tomorrow's plans include the book sale at the public library, picking up my food order from Angel Foods Ministry and helping to serve at our fundraising German dinner at church from 4-7 pm. So, as you can see, tomorrow would not be a good day for the Lord to decide it's my turn to be sick!!
