Good Morning! It was after supper time last night when I realized I hadn't put in a blog for the day.
We got really busy Wednesday afternoon and got the garden planted....7 tomato plants, 2 banana pepper plants, 4 bell pepper plants, 9 Blue lake bean plants, 2 strawberry plants and a row of lettuce. Still not as large as I would like, but larger than last season. We also went to the awards ceremony for Awanas. Jasmine got a certificate for perfect attendance, another for finishing a book. She also got a medal for finishing a book as well as a nice Bible for teenage girls for moving up to Trek.

Allen ended up sick with fever and sore throat Wednesday evening. I got stuck playing this game at iwon...mahjong dimensions. I stayed up way too late and when I was ready to go to bed Allen was up with a stomach ache. He is still home today as they aren't allowed back to school until their fever has been down for a full 24 hours.

I got some videos in on gather yesterday, then it gave up on me and wouldn't load anymore. I will try again today. I'm cashing out with gather today for $50 in amazon but still need a minimum of $75 more in amazon to make my goal of buying a laptop. Need to bust a move to get it in the time I would like...which is before we head to the Bible camp at the end of June for family camp.
The guy that sold me my van says he has another vehicle he can let me drive until we find something else. I need to call and check with him on that. Heather and I both have dr. appts this afternoon and I need to call and make the girls dentist appts.

Saturday December 20

Afternoon all. This will be short today as I've been sick since I went to bed last night. It's 4 pm now and I'm just feeling better enough to think I actually want to try sitting in front of the computer.

The Christmas party for work was nice yesterday and I'm glad I went. There were lots that wanted to tell me goodbye, give me a hug and tell me that I will be missed. Afterwards I was able to get a ride to Wal Mart to pick up a few groceries. I cam home to find my mother sick...and so it goes.
Praying that no one is sick today, tonight or tomorrow morning so we can all make it to church for the special service before Christmas.

I will go ahead and feature one of my squidoo lenses today. It's the one I built on mycoolcontests. I hope you will check it out and join to help me get more entries. I still need to log in to see if I won anything today. My Cool Contests

Friday October 24

Good Morning.
Not a good morning for Jasmine, she is sick to her stomach. It hit my oldest daughter earlier this week. I suppose we will all have to take our turn whether we like it or not.
The only plans I have for today is my flu shot this morning.
Tomorrow's plans include the book sale at the public library, picking up my food order from Angel Foods Ministry and helping to serve at our fundraising German dinner at church from 4-7 pm. So, as you can see, tomorrow would not be a good day for the Lord to decide it's my turn to be sick!!

I'm hoping for more time today to spend in gather..got to get those points really going for my next $50 amazon. For now, I am off to also post this on yuwie and then to play my winster games before heading out for my flu shot.

Sunday October 12

Good afternoon.
The good news for today that my van was recovered, the man that stole it was arrested, and it's home where it belongs.

Ariel woke up sick to her stomach this morning so I just made sure that Allen made it to his communion class and the rest of us stayed home. I made that trip to the store for sprite, popsicles, apple juice etc for sick stomachs. Unfortunately it's that time of year. Heather and I will go to Bible study this evening though.

I think today I need to mostly concentrate on attempting to catch up on my gmail with over 12,000 emails in my inbox. I will also click on my paid to clicks while I am at it since it's that money that I am attempting to save to buy another vehicle.

I will try to start building more of my squidoo lenses tomorrow and then Wednesday and on.

Monday September 15

It's my payday today and I am going to have to do the best I can with only 18 hours and 45 minutes on my check. The cable bill will have to be shorted to get in some other things.
My grandson started feeling bad yesterday and slept most of the day. He has a sore throat, headache, and fever so he will be going to the doctor today to get checked for strep.
I am going to give the Angel Food Ministry a try. I have to stop in there before heading to work to order my food package. Looks like a lot of good stuff in the $30 package and I am hearing others rave about what a good deal it is.
Other than that and a little grocery shopping I think the only outside appt is my moms usual Monday dr appt.

I am trying to upload a video on gather and it's not cooperating with me. But, today I will share my mail call post. Mail Call! Week of September 7
