SUMMERTIME!

Ok, so technically it's not summer yet, but it is for me. Today, the last day of public school and my last day of work until August. I'm excited to have the time off to concentrate on my online ventures as well as concentrate on getting my mom's house decluttered and fixed up.

I'm heading out soon to go the awards presentation at my grandson's school then bring him home. Later Heather has her group therapy. Jasmine is sick to her stomach today :(

Wednesday

We've made it to Wednesday and only today and tomorrow left of public school here.
Heather made herself a doctor appt this morning at the same time as I have to be at work...guess that doesn't take much off me, just drop her off and she will walk home when she's done. She will have her weekly math tutoring this afternoon, something we are planning to continue each week thruout the summer as well.

NOthing on the agenda for this evening so that means boomertowne, boomertowne and boomertowne LOL I can get enough points today to cash out for a $25 gift card!
I am having a lot of fun there. My daily routine includes chatting for a bit, then playing a game of sodoku and a game of mah jong. I also play the daily trivia game. Then I go on to my profile and accept any new friend requests, then go to my list of friends and leave some comments to their profiles. I then do a lot of friend requesting. Then, I am off to post in 2 discussions for the day, then off to take a look at and rate some of the recipes. Last but not least I check the news and the weather.

Tuesday

Good morning! I was just looking at the 5 day forecast and it looks like its going to be a bit cooler again for the rest of the week....in the 80's. Just about perfect for me.

We have a home visitor this afternoon and Heather has her group therapy. I thought that was a 12 week course but I guess it's 18 weeks so she still has 6 more weeks counting this week.

My garden is still doing well. The lettuce is still growing. The carrots are starting to sprout. There are even flowers on 2 of my tomato plants. We had a bit of rain last night so I don't have to water this morning.
There is something strange growing out there. I think it looks like rhubarb....my mom says its just a weed LOL However, the neighbor man and my boyfriend both said rhubarb right away too. How it got there?? Who knows! It's getting larger everyday.

Happy Monday

Looks like the high is in the 90's again today. When it decided to finally get warm it went all out. I don't have anything written in my planner today, so just the usual work, getting Jr to school and back and getting my mom to her Monday dr appt....still enough to keep me more than busy.
This is the last week of public school, but I will still work with the girls here at home through next week as well.

Wowzer!

I say wowzer because I didn't seem to be myself yesterday. After not being on the computer most of the day I just didn't really want to be on in the evening. I did a few of my programs then went upstairs and crocheted on the prayer shawl while I watched a movie with my mom.

I'm not sure what I will accomplish today....only time will tell on that one! I started reading in to another great book and know I will be reading more of it today. I also want to try to visit at least most of my regular websites and go through my email accounts, which I didn't even open either one of yesterday.

Fun Saturday

The morning started with going to a string of garage sales. I got some pretty good deals.
After that I took my mom to the Farmer's Market. We didn't find much there at all except signs hung up apologizing because of the late Spring weather this year.
Once home I started making ice cream in maker that I bought at one of the sales.

Before the ice cream was done it was time to head to the Kansas Splashdown. This place is awesome fun! It's our indoor water park. I love the waterslides the most. We rarely go because of the cost to get in, but today we went with the Headstart group. We did volunteer work of some sort each month of the school year and this was our end of the year party for the volunteers.

TGIF!

Again we have made it to Friday. Nothing really in today's plans except school work with the girls and doing what I can online, and cleaning up a bit around here. I already did one load of laundry but have all the bedding to wash yet.

I got busy yesterday working on the prayer shawl that I am making for church. I only have 4 more colors to put in and put the fringe on and I should be able to complete that today.

Good Morning! Looks like they have taken the rain out of the forecast and are just calling for clouds. That will be great if it doesn't rain....at least not until after lunch, after the big cookout at work.

I got busy last night and cut more coupons....at least until my box was so full I couldn't fit anymore in. I took all the expireds out of my notebook and got the letters a-c done. At least I am getting somewhere on it.
Now I sit working on my paperwork. I've been bad and just let it pile up on my desk instead of getting it written and put away right away.

Wednesday

Here it is Wednesday. I got Allen off to school, only 6 school days left after today.
I went out to water the garden and see that the lettuce is sprouting....maybe in a few weeks we can eat some garden fresh lettuce.

I'm disappointed in netwinner. They have chosen to refund everyone's points instead of fulfilling cash outs we've already been waiting 6 months for. Now all we can do with our points is enter raffles. I've never been too fortunate in this area, but I used some of my points that way. I probably will continue to play at netwinner just because it's habit...and it plays in the background while I do several other sites.

Looks like todays high is 70. They are still calling for rain tomorrow and a high of only 65 for our cookout day at work. well over 600 people to feed will make for a crowded inside the school if it rains.

Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning to my online friends. Today should be a good day. We have an extra appointment this afternoon, and Heathers Tuesday group, but I think thats it for today.
I am in hopes of working on more coupons today. I'm closer to getting them cut out and in to my box, then I have the work of organizing them in to my notebook. I didn't make my goal of having them done by Sunday evening, but at least I am progressing with them.
