Sunday December 14

Good Morning. bbrrrr it's cold outside. 24 degrees when I last checked...high is supposed to be 50 but I don't see it making it. Tomorrow's high is only to be 19. ack!! time to start wearing the long johns.

Yesterday I put together a contest on gather to give away a $25 restaurant.com redemption code. The contest will run until the 18th which chances for more entries each day. Contest!! Win a Restaurant.com $25 code Day 1 Day 2 is also just posted.

Today I plan on getting the rest of the hair scrunchies made. Somehow my red yarn disappeared (darn grandkids) so I am now making black. I am finding it very hard to see the stitches on the black. They are going to be very pretty.

No one ended up sick yesterday, that was a blessing. I just hope it doesn't hit me and make me miss one of my last 4 days of work...especially not the very last day I am working!

I will close for now. I am in hopes that yuwie is running today. It's hard to get views and keep up with friends when the site's been down more than up the past few days!

Saturday December 6

Good Morning. 9:15...that is what time I crawled out of bed this morning. It wasn't that I stayed up late, but had a granddaughter who thought all night she was going to be sick.

I gave up on yuwie yesterday (sorry friends) I was trying to do about 10 things at once and when I would hit back to yuwie I would find I had left it on the page to leave a comment, then when I put the comment in it locked me out on suspicion of fraudulent activity. I guess just because it took me so long to put in the comment. When it happened the 2nd time I just closed yuwie for the day. I will catch up with you all today.

I actually did 6 posts on gather yesterday as well as shared 2 photos. I'm going to share my post of the Game Wave system we got yesterday thru bzz agent. Game Wave Gaming System Came Today From Bzzagent

I updated my cello in the box lens yesterday on gather so I will make that my featured lens for the day. I hope you will take a look, I put in the December specials. My Cello In A Box

No real plans today other than clicking away on the computer. I would like to make a trip to the grocery store at some point too.

Wednesday November 26

Good morning! Almost afternoon...
The weather is beautiful today, sunny and no wind to chill the air.

I slept in until 8:15. I spun some over at winster before starting anything. I then did my 2 daily posts on gather and then built a squidoo lens all about gather that I hope you will check out. Gather The BEST in Social Networking

I don't have any real plans today, just to do all I can on the computer which includes all the paid to clicks that I can, working in my gmail on gather notifications, catching up on my yuwie comments.
I started working on organizing the board games last night and putting them on a shelf. I plan to finish that today and other housework.
I need to get ahold of my son to come pick up the roaster, the turkey and other foods for tomorrow.

Wedesday November 5

It's over and Obama won, which is really what I expected. I guess now we sit back and see if he brings about all this "change" he is promising. Personally I think it's up to the people to change, I'm not sure the government can do it.
Recently I've joined several groups at gather.com that have to do with money, saving money, living a more frugal lifestyle etc. I've been finding the posts to be very informative, encouraging and helpful.

I didn't get much done on the computer yesterday and hope to do a lot on here today. I need to really work at gather, catch up on my yuwie comments etc. I also need to get some much needed housework done as well. The rest of this week won't be so full of appointments. Allen is out of school on Friday so that gives me an opportunity to stay up a bit later Thursday evening and sleep in a bit on Friday.

I sat and got a lot of coupons cut out while we bowled last night. I will be working on getting the rest of them cut and sorted through Friday and getting my shopping list made for Saturday. I really must do a lot better on saving at the grocery store than I have been.

For now I am off to do what I can on here before work. I may skip winster today past logging in since I did cash in for another $5 in amazon yesterday. It almost made me late to work though as I was determined to play until I got that million points LOL

Monday November 3

Morning to all.
Usually Monday's are pretty good days for me. (Good days mean that I don't have to go many places and have a lot of computer time) That is not the case for this Monday. I had to start out the morning by getting my grandson to school as once again my daughter didn't bother to show up to take him. Then I was informed that my son had to be in court. There went all but an hour of my time on here this morning.
It's my mom's social security payday today, so there goes the entire afternoon as I run her around paying bills and such until supper time.

I got the Halloween photos all resized and such to put in to gather yesterday, but it's still not done. So, I don't have a gather post to share today.

I was on that cleaning and organizing thing most of the time I was home yesterday. I am happy to say that all the books that I have up for auction are now all together on a bookshelf versus the boxes they were piled in to. I also took the time to look through them all. I found 3 that were no longer listed. I will get those relisted.

I didn't do anything with squidoo yesterday other than check in a couple of times to approve comments.
In fact, most of the time I was online I spent at yuwie approving friend requests, approving comments and sending comments myself. It's getting funner as I go along, but taking up a lot of my time.

For now I need to get ready for work, so I will bid you all adeau for this day.
