I'm currently in an online Black Friday party. I invite you to join us!
Some of us sponsors are offering good deals as well as there are links to numerous merchants for great deals.
And hey, with each purchase, you are put in to the drawing to win prizes!! If you remember, last year I ended up winning the grand prize from this party, which was worth about $150!
Join us in the chatroom here: http://www.computermoneymakers.com/chatroom.htm
Click here to find out more about us sponsors as well as prizes available to win: http://www.computermoneymakers.com/blk2010.htm
and, this page will show you alphabetically all the great deals that are offered online right now! http://www.computermoneymakers.com/blfirpend.htm
I hope you will at least pop in and chat for a bit throughout the day. That's always fun. You don't need to be a member of piepoints to participate in the party...(but if you are, you do earn points per dollar on purchases) you will still get entries in for the prize drawings with purchase.
Hope to see you there!

WIP Wednesday
Welcome to WIP Wednesday, hosted by Every Day Crochet. Please click the button at the end of my post to join in on the fun. Share your own works in progress, or go check out what others are working on.
Busy has become my middle name as they say. Mostly busy away from home taking others around.
I did finish reading the Capablanca Variation and have my book review here if you would like to take a look.
I finished up my friends order for dish scrubbies, which she picked up last night. I finished the washcloth and dish scrubbie order and got it mailed out. And, I've worked on the other craft order for fabric bags, washclothes and dish scrubbies. I didn't get the order finished, but just have the dish scrubbies to finish up. Below is a photo of one of the 5 fabric bags I made for the order. I also listed them in my etsy store on a will make as ordered basis.
Life's been crazy since my oldest daughter got a full time job. I now ride to work with her so that I can keep her car for the day and get children to and from school as well as run other's around....and add that to the things I was already doing. I'm having a hard time coping with the getting up so early in the morning, and winter is setting in, which isn't helping.
I'm finishing up reading another book--How To Organize Your Life (not sure of exact title since it's in my tote in the car). Last night's chapter was on organizing your time. It was quite interesting. I need to take it to heart...especially the part of saying no to some so that I can have the time I need for things that I want and need to get done.
Some good news on my end is that my laptop is back!!!! Such a Godsend that all it needed was the keyboard replaced, and that we have a friend that is a computer tech. He not only was able to get the keyboard cheap with his discount, but did all the work for me without charging me anything. I need to make sure to make him some of my treats at Christmas time.
I can't wait to see what next week will bring on getting things done with the Christmas season starting. Busy Busy Busy....oh yeah, just call me Marsha Busy Seiberling LOL
Signing out for now. I hope you will hop over and enter my Old El Paso Family Taco Night Review and Giveaway if you haven't already. It ends Dec. 2. I have another giveaway I hope to get posted Friday as well as another one coming soon.

Jello Sugar Free Mousse Temptations Review
I was excited when I rec'd an email from Stephanie at gather.com saying that I had been chosen to do a review for Kraft products. Part of the review included trying Jello Sugar Free Mousse Temptations.
I rec'd my package in the mail today and went to the store right away. I had a real interest in doing these reviews because my boyfriend is hyperglycemic and can not have sugar. He does buy the Sugar Free Jello pudding on a regular basis for himself. He's never tried the Mousse Sensation.
At the store I found 3 flavors available: Chocolate Mint, Dark Chocolate Decadence, and Chocolate Indulgence. I now know there is also Caramel Creme available. I wanted to get the Chocolate Mint, but my daughter wasn't sure if my boyfriend would like that since he usually gets just chocolate. So, I chose the Chocolate Indulgence.
We all had a cup with our supper for dessert. I didn't have any complaints at all. My boyfriends first comment was "It's fluffy" to which I replied that mousse is supposed to be fluffy. I like the fluff.
I normally want nothing to do with sugar free at all. In the past I've had a problem with after taste is sugar free products. I do not notice an after taste with these.
Other information you need to know: There are just 60 calories per cup. There are 0 grams of trans fat. There is 6 grams of sugar alcohol.
I've also decided that I do need to be more health conscious. You can go to http://goodeatinggoodliving.com and sign up for tips, stories and recipes. I went in and found that I was already a member. I looked around and find the recipes to look wonderful! I look forward to trying many of them in the future.
After trying the Mousse Temptations, I would buy them in the future. I would like to try the other flavors. My boyfriend says they were good, as chocolate is always good, but he would prefer to stick with the sugar free Jello pudding his is used to. He didn't care for the fluff.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this review. The opinions are my own. I received a free coupon for the Sugar Free Mousse Temptations as part of a package from gather and Kraft for the purpose of this review. See the original post asking for reviewers here: http://diabetes.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474978653080

WIP Wednesday
Happy Wednesday! It's time to share WIP's (works in progress) in conjunction with Every Day Crochet. Please click the button at the bottom to join in on the fun.
Your WIP doesn't have to be crafts, it can be anything!
I didn't get much more done on the rug, but it is almost done. I got nothing more done on the hot pads I am making for Christmas. And, I didn't get material cut for my next quilt like I wanted to either. I have orders I've been working on, including one that is a barter. I made 2 crocheted headbands and a crocheted ear warmer in trade for tart melts. (not pictured)
See the mess of netting on my desk? I've been in the midst of making 10 dishscrubbies for a friend's order, 3 for another order, and have 6 yet to make for another order. I'm also trying to get as many made in advance as I can to have a bunch for sale at the monster garage sale.
This is as far as I've gotten on one order, and that was buying the material and netting for this order of scrubbies and fabric bags. I will get the bags all pinned today and ready to sew.
My daughter got a job with hours that makes me have to get the kids to school each morning. This is going to take me some getting used to. For one thing it means crawling out of bed almost 2 hours earlier than I have been! It also means time away from home as well. Wish me luck with it.
I am still in the process of finishing up that book to review. Almost done reading it. I also have an ebook to read that will be given away on my blog soon.
Busy Busy Busy....seems there is no other way for me.

2010 Giving Thanks Challenge
I've decided to join in on the 2010 Giving Thanks Challenge after reading about it on Ruthi's Abitosunshine blog.
The Challenge is hosted by Leah on her South Breeze Farm blog
The challenge is quite simple...There are (30) days in November, (30) reasons to feel thankful--add (1) to the list each day of the month. If you decide to join a few days into the month like I have, just catch up. And be sure to add the 2010 Giving Thanks Challenge Button to your blog so others can join in our sharing of thankfulness. I hope you will click the button at the bottom on my post and join in.
I will be adding a new item each day (now that I am caught up), so check in often.
1. The top thing on my thankful list is every morning that I wake up to spend more time with my family and friends.
2. I am thankful for my 4 children.
3. I am thankful for the 7 grandchildren (and another on the way) that my children have provided me with.
4. I am thankful for my church and my church family. I mostly feel more at home at church than I do the place where I am living.
5. I am thankful for my online friends...they have gotten me a lot of rough patches in this life of mine.
6. I am thankful to be a homeschool parent. Although I only have 1 of 4 children left at home, the time I was able to spend one on one with my children in their education is priceless.
7. I am thankful for a warm place to live in the cold winter.
8. I am thankful for the talents that God has granted me with my hands, that enable me to earn some money, as well as make others happy with homemade gifts.
9. I am thankful that a sewing club was started at my church, and I was able to learn how to quilt. I am learning more each month that we meet.
10. I am thankful for my heavy, warm, fuzzy blanket as the nights get colder.
11. I am thankful to have a friend who is currently working on fixing my laptop for me. On that same note, I am thankful to my boyfriend for buying a power supply for his desktop so that I can still be online.
12. I am thankful for Bible study each week at church. I get so much more out of the small group discussion there where there isn't the distraction of trying to keep my grandchildren quiet.
13. While I am there...I am thankful that I am able to take my grandchildren to Sunday school and church so that they can grow and learn.
14. I am thankful to own a car. It may not run all that well, but does get us where we need to be.
15. Today was a cold day, so I am thankful to have warm clothing I can wear.
16. After so many things going wrong today, I am very thankful for 3 good games of bowling in our league tonight and a series of 557.
17. I am thankful to have made the last visit to see my son in jail...and prayful that he is true to his word to stay out of trouble.
18. Today I am thankful for sleeping in and not having to go anywhere away from home.
19. I'm thankful for our Friday nights of eating out. It's a day I don't have to worry about what to fix, or doing dishes.
20. I'm thankful this is the day my son is out of jail! I am thankful that he came to check out my car and one current problem with it was nothing more than a loose battery cable connection.
21. I am thankful that my son kept his promise and attended church with us this morning. Now praying he will keep it up when he's off work on a Sunday morning.
22. I am thankful for all the opportunities I am presented with online. Today I rec'd 2 great packages from gather.com with items to review.
23. I am thankful for the time I got to spend with my children today. And, thankful for the schoolwork Jasmine and I got done even though we were in the car most of the day.
24. I am thankful for a dr. appt with my daughter who is pregnant. They said they baby's heartbeat is healthy and strong.
25. Today is Thanksgiving. The turkey is one, I'm getting ready to put the green bean casserole in the crockpot. I'm also about ready to get a pie in the oven. I'm thankful for the time I will get to spend with family. And hey, I'm very thankful that everyone is bringing a little something to help with the dinner.
26. I am thankful today for a small gathering of family again for Thanksgiving leftovers. Thankful that we had the leftovers and that we were able to save money not going out to eat as we usually do on Fridays.
27. I am thankful today for the time my daughter and I spent at church today helping out with the Christmas sale. I am also thankful for the change I've been saving for awhile that enabled me to buy some needed Christmas decorations, cards, wrapping paper, and a lot of stocking stuffers.
28. Well, it's really windy and cold outside today, so I found myself being thankful that I didn't have to be outside in it very often!
29. Today I am thankful for my shopping trip to Walgreen's. I only spent $5.22 of which most of that was sales tax. I used over $55 in coupons and saved an additional $20 with sale prices. More items added to my Christmas gifts as well as needed items for the house too!
30. Today I am just thankful for the things I was able to accomplish at home despite having to be away from home so much.
The month of November is over! I started this late, meaning I thought of every day things I am thankful for. Once caught up I was able to think of different things that specific day that I was thankful. This is a great exercise. I feel privileged to have found this challenge. It reminds me that I need to start a grateful journal again.
