Having too many days this past week where I had to be away from the house most of the day, I got lapse in my blog posts again. I had a post that needed to go up Saturday...it didn't get done. I had a post that needed to be put up on Tuesday...it didn't get done either. I must get both of those posts done, and soon.
Monday, my All Business Monday post was delayed due to me sewing and quilting all day. I felt that was the perfect time to share about the Sewing Party. That is something that I need to do since I'm working towards making selling the things that I make as more of a business than just a hobby. I felt it fit in.

Writer's Unite 10/9/14
It looks like everyone has been busy with their writing, including me.
I'm still working up to some additional series here on my blog, and most will include a linky each week for anyone who will want to share similar posts they are also doing on their blogs.
This past week I did 2 sponsored posts for savings websites. I'm all about saving. I will be linking those up this week in case you missed them.
I can't wait to see what YOU link up this week :)

Squidoo Hopping 2/20/14

How is everyone this week?
I'm still using not feeling well as to why I'm not getting much done. That's not the only reason though. My computer is being whack. I am scheduled to take it in on Monday. Within 45 minutes something is causing it to slow to a crawl. I am having to restart it over and over all day just to regain speed for a bit. It's quite frustrating to say the least.
It's stopping me from getting to many of my websites, including squidoo.
I was glad to see payday even though mine was just $6.32 plus the 10% that went to charity. A few sales in December for Christmas gave me most of that.
I know that payouts for lensrank have been down for quite some time now. I still don't know on the lenslets how they, or if they, pay as far as lensrank.
If you know, that would be a good comment for this week.
In the meantime, please do share your any posts you have made about squidoo over this past week as well as choose 1 or 2 lenses that you would like to share.

Squidoo Hopping--Destinations

This week, let's share 1 or 2 of our lenses that are destinations. Your home town, vacation spots, special attractions, events, etc. These lenses are always fun and educational for me to look at. For the most part it's my only chance to see these places, attractions and events.
Please also share any squidoo related blog posts you have done this past week as well. Thanks!!

Squidoo Hopping--This Week's Theme is Gift Guides

Gift guides are the thing on squidoo right now with Christmas right around the corner!
I've made one new lens and have 2 more that I hope to get done soon.
I've changed the topic of my Grandma's Christmas Wishlist lens to a gift guide.
If you've been building gift guides, or already had some built, please share one or two on them in the linky below. Don't forget that if you've written a blog about squidoo to also link it up as well.
I can't wait to see everyone's gift guides and blog posts.

Squidoo Hopping--This Week's Theme is Fall

Good Thursday to all! Since it's now Autumn, or Fall, let's make this week's theme Fall.
Share lenses that have anything to do with the season, colors of the seasons, holidays in the season, activities during this season and more. Have fun!
Don't forget that if you blog about Squidoo at all please link those posts up. You may link up older blog posts if you like, and the linky remains open until the following Thursday when I put up a new one. Linking to blog posts in unlimited, but linking lenses is limited to 2 per week.
Thanks!

Squidoo Hopping--This Week's Theme is Books

This week choose one or 2 of your lenses related to books to share in the linky. This can be any lens about books--book reviews, reading lists, top 10 books, etc.
Also share any blog posts you have done related to squidoo too. Even if it's a blog post highlighting even one squidoo link!
I look forward to seeing what is added this week.

Squidoo Hopping--This Week's Theme is History

Good Thursday to all!
This week I am choosing history to be the theme.
There are lots of interesting pieces of history.
Maybe your lens is a specific date in history, maybe a specific time in history, maybe an event in history, maybe even teaching history. The list goes on.
Remember to link up any blog posts about squidoo as well as your lenses for the week.

Shop Hop Saturday--Little Bit of This, Little Bit of That
Just a heads up from the start. I really doubt that I will be doing more than a Merry Christmas post next weekend :) We will be super busy Saturday all day with 2 families and then church. As a reminder, here are my current goals: (may re-think them for the new year, not sure yet)
1. Build a new squidoo lens or update a previous lens each day.
2. Post at least 3 things a week to redgage.
3. Post 2 things a week into my etsy store and continue to move other things to my zibbet store.
4. Keep up with the reviews and regular postings to my blog.
5. Sew at least a little bit each day. (this goes with accomplishing goal 3)
I have been doing pretty well with #1--will head in there after I am done with this post for today's updating.
I just went to redgage and posted 3 photos. I was a little disappointed that the 3 videos I had posted to youtube this past week weren't auto added to redgage? They used to be. I know my wedding video was as I rec'd comments on it, but I can't even find it in my account now. This is one that needs to change for the new year. It didn't take me long at all to add the 3 photos, so why can't I take the time to make it to redgage daily? I accepted more friend requests and left lots of comments while I was in there too.
I posted 3 items for sale this week in my etsy store. I must add to this goal to move at least one item per day from etsy over to zibbet!
I am thinking for best results and sales I really must have a minimum of 50 items in my stores to choose from. Getting to that on zibbet won't be a problem if I just get busy transferring them over. With the free account on zibbet, 50 listings is your limit. I am perfectly fine with that number.
Yes, #4--still keeping up with regular postings on my blog, but still need to work on those reviews. In fact, I really need to review an album yet today and get that up along with a giveaway.
#5---I have indeed made it in to my craft room for some sewing each day this past week. A couple of the days weren't more than 10 or 15 minutes, but I am happy with that too!
That looks like that's it for this week's report. I will be working more this week to finish up Christmas gifts and wrapping.
Thanks again to Ruth of abitosunshine for hosting this shop hop each week. Please click the button at the top to learn more about it, post your own link, and/or support others who are working from home.

Resolutions Journal Week 10--April 3--April 9
Week 10 Accomplishments: April 3-April 9
Read in my current book--Sins of the Flesh--and finished it. I wrote my review on gather.
Sins of The Flesh by Caridad Pineiro Book Review.
Crocheted other washcloth and dish scrubbie for my giveaway.
Updated my Our Garden 2010 squidoo lens with quite a bit more. I also updated my Jasmine's Lapbooks, Under The Rainbow Gifts, Helen Steiner Rice, Kansas Cosmosphere and The Vision Board, Gather, and Tiger Eyes squidoo lenses.
I built My Book Reviews and When Ghosts Speak squidoo lenses.
I started to crochet a washcloth, but got an order for 2 purple dish scrubbies so crocheted those and got them out in the mail.
As you see, I've been doing well getting posts into my blog. I'm back in business!
You can also see that I really got going on my squidoo lenses. Can I keep it up? I sure plan to. I need to get some better money made there. All visits to help my lensrank are truly appreciated!
Until next Friday night, have an awesome week!
Marsha
