I, myself, have not done much writing except a few blog posts here. Seriously, one day I will get back to writing regularly on bubblews, but right now there are other things taking precedence....both online and offline.

Writer's Unite 7/9/15

Another week has gone by for me without posting here on my blog, or on bubblews.
So busy...again with birthdays and the holiday. At home I'm busy still earning with the traffic exchanges I am doing. I will have a dedicated post to one that I've joined with an early invite when it goes live on Monday!

I'm also downright busy getting ready for the quilt show July 23-25th. I am in charge of quilt entry intake. I'm putting in all of the information from entries now into a google spreadsheet. This is taking awhile to number entries as I put them in. Over 150 entries. Another gal is waiting on my to finish the spreadsheet so that she can make the tags that go with each entry! Not to mention that along with the paperwork that I also have 2 quilts of my own that need to be finished before the 23rd in order to enter them in the show.

I have been more active on tsu as we've been out and about. The tsu app is great and so easy to use. I plan a post with a linky for anyone to put in their tsu profile page so that I have a reference to go by to check in on active users. In fact, I will make it a page in the index for anyone to use when they would like to.

In the meantime, I do look forward to seeing what you have been writing.....and it doesn't have to be something written in the last week either. Feel free to share anything you would like, no matter when you wrote it!

Writer's Unite 7/2/15

Can you believe that July is already here?  I can't, but what is even harder for me to believe is that I found yesterday that I hadn't written a blog post since June 19!  I apologize to my regular contributors for not being here.
There will be a week this month that I will miss....the week of July 26th.  It's vacation week and we have a big family camping trip planned.  I will write up a reminder post before then.

Bubblews updated their site since the last time I was here.  Admittedly, I am doing too many other things and not writing there much.  It is fun to write now taking time to use the markdowns and add the emotions to posts too.  I will be adding my latest 2 posts there in the linky this week.

July looks like it will be just as busy with family and other activities away from home.  How is your summer going?

Writer's Unite 6/4/15

We've made it to June.  It looks like summer is finally here.  We had a lot of rain here in Kansas throughout May and now the temps are staying where I am not cold.

I am still slacking off on my writing except a post a day on bubblews.   I'm in hopes for the motivation needed to get the needed blog posts written over the weekend.

Writer's Unite 5/28/15

I'm in a writing slump, I admit it.  I can't put my heart in to it.....and I have some reviews that should have already done.
One is a book, which is a good one, and which I am still reading.
Motivate me friends!

I'm writing just once a day on bubblews.  I do still enjoy the interaction there and also know how important the personal interaction is.  That doesn't apply to just bubblews, but all over the net.

Writer's Unite 5/21/15

It seems that I am still having trouble getting back into any type of routine at all after our week away on vacation.  Not just in my writing, but everything in my life from housework, other earning, my couponing, and my crafts as well.

I still have 2 reviews to get written up and one of those includes a giveaway.   At least I can't think of anything right now other than 2 things that are right in front of me. 

How many graduations are you attending this year?  For us we had a 6th grade recognition for one grandson, but we weren't able to get out of town to go to it.  Then 8th grade graduation is this evening for my oldest grandson.  It's awhile yet before any grandchildren will graduate high school.

Write on and I will see you all around the many places and spaces on the internet!

Writer's Unite 5/14/15

Getting back into the 'groove' after vacation last week.  I have done one of my reviews with giveaway so far but have one more review/giveaway, and 2 other reviews to get written on products that came in while we were away.
It's best for me to just ask you to wish me luck.  Re-establishing any kind of a routine since coming back home is proving to be a lot harder than it should be.

Writer's Unite 4/30/15

I can't believe it's already the last day of April!  Where did the month go?

As you already know, I am not writing anywhere except my blog and bubblews.  I've only been writing once a day on bubblews, with the exception this past weekend where I wrote twice about my nephew's wedding.  In fact, one of the posts that I am sharing in the linky includes 2 short videos that I took at their reception.

Are you still writing heavily, or have you backed down too?  Either way, I can't wait to see what is shared this week.

p.s.  We are on vacation next week so I will not be blogging next week except possibly Wordless Wednesday to share some pictures from our trip.

Writer's Unite 4/23/15

How has your writing week been?
I'm actually caught up on all book and products that I had in for review.   I was a little overwhelmed for a bit, now I have nothing.
I have a write up that I want to do about alternatives to Etsy since their announcement to go public.

Right now, I will be honest though.  I'm not feeling well and need to find a way to get to the doctor.  Wish me luck please or say a prayer that it's something simple that is wrong.  I don't like feeling out of sorts like this!

Writer's Unite 4/16/15

Boy April seems to be flying by!  How did we already get to the middle of the month?

I've been keeping up with my blog fairly well, but still not writing as much as I should.  I only have one item at the moment to yet get a review written on.

I've only been writing once a day at bubblews, but hope to get back to writing at least twice a day there.
If you are a regular reader then you know that I am trying other avenues with the traffic exchanges to try to earn right now.

I'm not seeing a lot of people sharing from other writing platforms much.  It looks like a lot of my regular readers are mostly writing on their own blogs now.   How about you?

Writer's Unite 4/9/15

Last week was the usual chaotic holiday week.  I love them for the family time though.  The reason for the holiday is also special.
I got a little behind in my posting, skipping writing anything on both Saturday and Sunday.
I have caught up now.  In fact, for the moment, all of my giveaway posts are taken care of.  I do still have 2 reviews to get written up.

I've only been doing one post a day on bubblews, then doing some interacting.  My heart just isn't in it.  I do want to stay active and help out those others who are still active there.  I don't know where these promised changes are though.....or what they are going to bring.  Time will tell, as I always say.

Writer's Unite 4/2/15

It's so hard for me to believe that April is already here!
I am trying to keep up with my blog posts. For a time I didn't have any giveaways at all, now I'm having trouble keeping up.  I have 2 more at the moment to get up with reviews, and then one book review to do as well.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing at all.  I love getting the products in for the reviews and the giveaways.  I love being able to have my readers to be winners.

Bubblews is still the only place I am writing other than my blog.  I'm down to writing just 2 or 3 posts a day.  I'm happy that some of my regular connections there are still writing, but it seems to be fewer all the time, and those are also writing less.  I really do want the site to succeed and always be there for us, but the mojo has left for many of us.

I'm reading bad news about other writing sites all the time--people who are having their hubpages deleted without notice, Elitevisitors not paying, then changing hands and still not paying, several of the other new ones not making it from the get go.
I didn't choose to go with hubpages from squidoo due to hearing that they were pretty tough, and I couldn't figure out how to earn since I don't have adsense.
I didn't choose to 'hop on the bandwagon' going and signing up at all these other writing sites as my heart wasn't in it.

Where are you writing these days and being successful?  Can you share how the earning is at different writing platforms--mostly those that will allow me to 'write my world' as bubblews does?

Writer's Unite 3/26/15

Catching up is what I feel like I am doing this week!  I am behind on writing reviews and doing giveaways.  I just rec'd a product yesterday to write about this being National Crafting Month.  Now they sent it to me a bit late since this month is about over, but I will work to get their post up today.
I also have another review and giveaway that will go up today.....the same company sent me another product yesterday already.
I love getting all of the free stuff, but am feeling a bit overwhelmed right now.  I have NO idea how the bloggers that put up 2 or 3 posts a day with reviews and giveaways do it....other than they are probably not like me, also doing 12 or more other websites in a day besides blogging.

I am still writing at bubblews.  Only 2 or 3 posts a day.  I had a dream last night that I woke up this morning to an announcement that they are just not going to pay anymore period.  I like the socializing aspect with those who have continued to write there like myself, but do wish I could earn more than 25 cents or more a day.
Recently I've started working some traffic exchanges that offer a chat feature while you surf, so I'm doing a little socializing there, plus there is tsu as well.  However, my daily earnings on tsu are also about half of what they were for awhile.    Sure seems hard to earn anymore.

Writer's Unite 3/19/15

This has not been a good week for my blogging efforts. Again, I lost my motivation and didn't blog every day.
On Sunday I decided not to do a review.  Well, ok, it got to be 10 pm and I realized then that I hadn't written a post.
Come Monday I decided to change my all business Monday to just posting each Monday about a different thing that I do online to earn money and do away with the linky.  I haven't had anyone linking up anyway.  That post did get me 3 referrals, which is what I need if I am going to start earning what I need to get vehicles running and such.

I will be continuing with this weekly linky and appreciate every week those of you who take the time to link up your own writing.  I will also keep the frugal Friday link up, and of course I have my ongoing giveaways linky page as well.

Actually, I'm a woman and I can change my mind, it's my right isn't it?    I am going to keep the Super Sunday Reviews linky, but instead of writing a review of my own within that post, it will just be the announcement to come in and share your reviews of the past week.
I plan to do my reviews on Tuesday and Saturday's, which I then will link up on Sunday's myself.
That seems better to me as I'm not sure that the companies that I am reviewing for really appreciate me having Super Sunday Reviews in my title and then what I am reviewing for them.

Writer's Unite 3/12/15

I finally took the time last week to search to find out how to fix my buttons so that the coding shows up to be copied and pasted.  I also eliminated a couple of pages that weren't being used.  I still have more work to do on the cosmetic side of my blog, but at least it's a start.
I would love to know how to make the banner at the top larger, and in the center for one thing.

I've been doing well writing daily on my blog here.  I cut down on bubblews from 6 posts a day back down to 4 posts daily. 

I'm trying to participate more in a few facebook groups that I belong to.

Writer's Unite 3/5/15

Reviews, Reviews, Reviews!
I feel like I am buried in reviews to get written.
I have 2 product reviews to get posted.  Both of those include giveaways.  One of those requires me to make a video on the installation of the product.
I have at least 3 books that need review written. 
I always write a review on Sunday and use it as my Super Sunday Reviews blog post.  This post also include a linky for anyone to share any reviews they have written on their blog for the week as well.
Then I have Saturday and Tuesday each week where I don't write a specific blog.

I am wondering how the bloggers who sometimes have 2 or 3 reviews a day written on their blog do it.  Well, other than maybe blogging is all they do online, whereas I usually have at least 10 tabs open on my computer doing things.

This week I did do a review on Tuesday.  Instead of 2 bubblews posts as I usually link up, I am going to link that review then one of my bubblews post.

Writer's Unite 2/26/15

February is coming to a close.  It seems this month has flown by.  We've had nice days and we've had days like today where it's 10 degrees outside.  Here in Kansas we've not had the bad snow like so many are seeing around the country.  Every day that passes is one day closer to Spring!

I've been writing more posts per day again on bubblews even though the pay is very low.  They are still messing with finding good advertisers and having some issues with adsense.  I hope they get it right.  Several have come back after at least one other writing platform has closed and a couple of the others are having trouble paying.  I just stick with what I know and what I am comfortable with because I am already trying to do way more than I should be!

How has your writing week been?  I have kept up with my blogging better, but still would like to get to where I am putting in 2 posts a day.

Writer's Unite --2/19/15

This week I've been trying to figure out how to use instagram.
So far I've found that it's called instagram because you have to share a photo that you are taking at the moment.....at least as far as I can tell.
I see that hashtags are used.
I guess you can only post to instagram from a smart device.
Here is what I am wondering----is there any way to say, post this blog post there with the link to it?

I am high hopes that some of my readers this week will have tutorial type posts that they have written to share in the linky.  Of course if you don't, feel free to share whatever posts you would like.
