Writer's Unite 4/9/15

MarshasSpot

Last week was the usual chaotic holiday week.  I love them for the family time though.  The reason for the holiday is also special.
I got a little behind in my posting, skipping writing anything on both Saturday and Sunday.
I have caught up now.  In fact, for the moment, all of my giveaway posts are taken care of.  I do still have 2 reviews to get written up.

I've only been doing one post a day on bubblews, then doing some interacting.  My heart just isn't in it.  I do want to stay active and help out those others who are still active there.  I don't know where these promised changes are though.....or what they are going to bring.  Time will tell, as I always say.

How was your Easter holiday and your writing week?

Sunday July 5

Good afternoon!
We got in from camp Friday after supper...then we had a birthday party for my grandson.
It was a nice week away from it all...and in the learning of the Word. I was happy to get home.
I was able to access the internet from camp (but not from our cabin). However, there was little time to actually get away to be online around all the activities so I didn't do my blog.

I have lots of photos and videos from camp to share on gather. I also still have most all the stuff from Bible school the week before to share.

I hope you all had a good 4th of July holiday. We cooked and swam all day. Family members were in and out all day eating and swimming. We watching the fireworks from the fairgrounds, and then still had homemade ice cream after those were over. It was a long day, but a great day with family.

I got my Our Unschooling Journey 3 squidoo lens updated for the week this morning.
I went and picked up my mail for the week from my mom's yesterday and got my Mail Call! Week of June 28 post done on gather too.

I'm going to do my best to get myself back into the routine that I need to be in for myself. I was able to get a lot of my coupons organized while at camp...I need to keep that up! I also got started on a crocheted quilt blanket. I need to work on crafts each day also.

We are supposed to be having our church picnic this afternoon. I want to go, but it's all cloud covered outside, raining off and on, and chilly in the wind. I think we will end up staying home and eating what I bought to take to the picnic.

Until tomorrow...have a blessed Sunday!

Tuesday February 17

Yay! It's no longer a holiday so we will get mail today and the bank will be open. Yesterday seemed like such a long day. I did get a lot done though.

Today's plans include getting to the bank to cash my check, taking my daughter's boyfriend to cash his check and buy a few things, taking my mom to her dr. appt, and then bowling this evening. I already did most of my housework for the day, so any time home can be spent here on the computer.

Here is a post I did on gather on how my Valentines Day went. Dinner, a Movie and a Quilt Mat

I didn't do much at all on squidoo yesterday. I did update the unschooling journey lens on Saturday as well as my hometown lens. I added a couple more pics and a featured lens module to my hometown lens. I think it's looking better. Hutchinson, Kansas Now I just need to figure out how to twitter it when I update or build. The message said my twitter setting weren't right. I changed them but maybe it just takes time to take affect so I will check that out again today.

It's supposed to be a high of 67 today. It's rather cloudy out, but then again, the temp is to drop to a high of 42 tomorrow. I hope the weather is improving where the rest of you all are. I know some places have been hit hard by winter!

Thursday August 28

Much better morning today not waking up to a headache. I did sleep in 20 minutes past the alarm going off.
I work today then I am off work until Tuesday with Monday being a paid holiday, got to love those.
Heather will have her math tutoring today and my mom her doctor appointment, but I believe that is it. I wish my check would come in from wellness360 so that I can do a little grocery shopping.

Today I am going to share my weekly freebies post from gather. As of next week I am changing the title to mail call. Freebies--Week of August 17

Until tomorrow, here is wishing you a good day,
Marsha
