Good Thursday morning.
Let's start with my question.
While looking through some old papers I found one of the old postcards I had bought while visiting Graceland. I intended to scan it and put the picture in my Elvis lens. My husband is telling me that since the postcard is copyrighted that I can't put it in my lens. He says I need to contact Graceland and get permission.
Well, since that whole copyright thing is pretty much above my head---can I, or can't I scan it and put the picture of it on my lens? Thanks. (So many of the pictures I put in with my lenses I get from the internet, mostly from wikipedia---I don't even have a clue if this is ok, but if I don't get photos from the internet just where am I to get them to go along with my lenses??)
Now, I have been working to update lenses. Some of them I opened to see about the donations module (which last I checked is still MIA)

Tentacles in a twist---that was the message I kept getting all last night as I tried to build a new lens. Thankfully I was able to get up this morning and get the new lens built.
KT Tunstall Tiger Suit --This is a music album review lens. I must learn how to fancy up my lenses like I see so many others do. My text modules just look blah. If you can direct me where to learn how to liven them up, please do so!
I don't believe that I updated any lenses this past week. I'm guilty of still being in a sewing frenzy. Must learn to divide my time up better. In the meantime, here are some of my "in the pink" lenses that could use some love to raise lensrank until I can find the time to get some updating done.
I'm sad to report that I didn't make enough this month to get paid. I would have if I hadn't started donating though, so that is still good. I have a long ways to go to get all of my lenses giving 10% to a charity.

After keeping track on gather for 5 weeks on my resolutions, I've decided to continue to keep track of what I am accomplishing each week here in my blog. (I did win a box of 100 calorie snacks for doing the resolutions journal entries on gather)
As a reminder, here are my "resolutions" for the year:
1. Using the exercise equipment we have on a regular basis.
2. Reading whenever I get a chance so that I can do more book reviews and in turn turn those book reviews into squidoo lenses.
3. Getting back to my online business. As a whole I call it Gifts Galore and More, but includes everything that I do online to earn money.
I will be updating or building a new squidoo lens each day, working on getting crafts made and listed for sale, getting more books listed for sale, etc.
4. Getting my blog back going again.
Week 6: March 6-March 12 accomplishments:
Updated homeschoolbuy auctions
Updated Crash, online parties, and REO Speedwagon squidoo lenses
Cut t-shirts to crochet with and made another t-shirt hand bag. I made a second bag for an order from a lady at church.
Worked on plastic canvas baby blocks and cross magnets, but didn't finish any.
Finished reading Hollywood Crows and got my book review written on gather.
Listed the newest t-shirt handbag in my blujay store.
As you can see, I'm not doing well with the exercising. I'm finding myself so into doing my crafts that I'm not wanting to take even a few minutes out each day on the equipment. I do want to change that as I know it will help my stamina...as well as the way I look.
Here it is Sunday. It didn't get as cold as they predicted, in fact, this morning there wasn't even any frost on the cars outside.
We started out this day watching a Karate Kid Movie marathon...cool eh? We are still on the first movie.
I didn't get to my coupons yesterday but really hoping to get to those today. Then again, I want to get to a lot of things. I got all the bags ready to cut for another shopping bag. I want to get those cut and strung together too. Plus, I am giving making an ear warmer a try. I am already crocheting on that this morning and want to finish it.
Alas, I also have housework to get done too.
I did my weekly mail call post on gather yesterday. I didn't get much, but have been working harder since the first of the year to pay attention to the posts and get things sent for. Mail Call! Week of January 4
I've gotten involved over at squidoo this mornng. I've been getting some of my lenses added to different groups. Today I will feature a lens that I made which is a book review of the children's book Crash! Crash! Book Review
