Holly Elle's Leopardess Album--Review and Giveaway!

Holly Elle is a Canadian Pop Powerhouse.  She has released her newest EP, Leopardess.  This album contains lyrics that Holly has written that narrate the most relatable emotions.

Leopardess is a testament to the growth of a woman who understands herself and Holly was able to reflect that in a flawless, musical body of art. "With this project...I feel an increased independence," Holly explained. "This is really about me, as a strong woman, coming into my own and passing on that strength through music. That's why I chose the title "Leopardess", the strong solitary proud female."

Drenched with honesty, Leopardess is a sweet five-track mix of banging club numbers and mid-tempo pop songs influenced by soulful 90's R&B. Holly brings her claws out for the feisty lead single "Predator," which features fierce harmonies and a booming dance beat with in-your-face lyrics to match. The classically trained singer asks for nothing but sincerity in another track "Who I Am," where she flaunts her sultry, milky smooth vocal chops.

Tracks include:
Predator
Seeing Red
You Deserve a Song
Wanna Be Loved
Who I am

My thoughts:
Holly Elle really does Pop music justice with this album.  She really is "popping".
I can't choose a favorite of the 5 songs as I really enjoy all of them!
'Wanna Be Loved'  sadly reminds me of my teens latest relationship break-up and exactly how I think she is feeling about the whole thing.  (It also has the word sh** twice at the start of the song.  This doesn't bother me as this is what the feelings are in the song)

  2. This isn't really the kind of music we listen to, but you did a great job on your review and being honest about the language in the songs. Thanks!
