II completed the birthday bags for my 3 granddaughters yesterday. I think they came out cute.

I slept in until 9:30..I've been busy with housework and computering ever since.
I have to take my son to an appt. at 1 pm and take him to work at 5 pm. Other than that the only other place I should have to go today is to the closing of the Bible school the grandkids have been attending this week. That will be nice. They are even serving us supper.
Yesterday I got notice that Squidoo Locked my Mycoolcontests lens
I really don't know why! I have other lenses that are promoting programs and they are fine (unless squidoo just hasn't gotten to those yet.) What I need to do is get my book reviews lenses made.
I almost can't believe that it's Friday already. It's been such a busy week. I still have lots to get moved, mostly books. I am still working on the dish scrubbie orders too.

Good Morning! It ended up being a nice day after all, and didn't rain anymore. The temps were great.
Jasmine and I are heading out to do some volunteer work with an agency called Interfaith Housing. We, along with a few others from our church and some from a couple other churches are going to help work on someone's house. It's part of Global Youth Service Day, which was really April 24-26, we are just a little late.
One thing on my vision board is to volunteer more.
We still will be spending the evening at my boyfriends. Part of the evening will be spent buying the food for tomorrow's bbq. He called to say his sister got really sick last night and was taken to the ER but he didn't know anymore than that. I hope she is better now!

Good Morning. It indeed was a great day weather wise. Hot enough that the kids played in the sprinkler and the hose. Woke up this morning to find it had rained all night and the driveway is flooded half way up.
Tonight is the carnival at Allen's school. They have loads of outdoor activities so I hope the rain stops until late tonight again so they can have a nice time.
I am working this evening at Headstart doing child care while they have a huge parent activity so I can't go to the carnival this year.
Nope, didn't get the books listed on homeschoolbuy. If I don't stop and just take the time to get it done it won't get done until at least Monday now. Tomorrow morning Jasmine and I are going for a youth day of helping a local agency work on someone's house (same agency that is working on my mom's house). Evening will be spent at Steve's again. Then comes Sunday, which is Mother's Day. Right after church we are spending the afternoon at Steve's with our whole family for a bbq. Can we say busy??

I really have a lot of updating to get done on squidoo too.
There isn't that much on sale at the store this week so I am just pulling out any coupon I think I might use. Shopping is just another thing I have to get done today. Allen gets out of school at 1 pm so I plan to have all my coupons ready by that time. I will have to nap after shopping to get ready to go deal with children at work. Last I heard there were 56 children signed up and only 5 child care workers, which is not enough by law. We will end up with other employees coming in to help us.
Good Morning. I slept later than I wanted to, but still up in time to get a few things done before church.
It's been pretty rainy here the last couple of days...so much again that once again the driveway is flooded half way up. I can't begin to tell you how thankful that the roof is done and we no longer have to worry about those leaks!
I think I will just relax mostly today...it is my "free day" in my basic weekly plan. I have a review for gather that I need to get done. Yesterday I think I did 5 posts! One of them was my Mail Call! Week of April 12 Another was my t-shirt win on mycoolcontests

I stayed busy yesterday for sure. I had roasts in the crockpot for supper. Steve didn't call me. I suppose I will call him just to see what is up since today marks 2 weeks since we've even talked to each other. For now I better close for the day, still have children to get ready.

Good morning! OMG! I way over slept this morning. I guess I needed the rest after so many nights of having a hard time getting to sleep.
Bowling is over for the season but I have a church council meeting this evening. I am also working all afternoon at Headstart doing childcare while parents volunteer for highway cleanup. In other words, I won't get much done around the house or on the computer before it's time to go to work.
Sorry for such a rant yesterday...the rest of the day went much better. My daughter's ex husband said he had a car that he wasn't using, so if we wanted to insure it and put a battery in it he would let us use it. My daughter sold her car in the back yard for junk to pay the insurance, and we took the battery out of my van. That didn't last long...already for some reason it won't start. (sigh) Which means either we figure it out fast or we have to find a ride to get the girls to their Headstart class and me to work.
I still couldn't get videos to upload into gather yesterday. When I get off work I will restart the computer and see if that helps anything. I really want to share all the videos I took at Easter time.

I'm very appreciative of whoever it was that signed up under me giving me another entry in for the prizes! MyCoolContests I've not heard anything yet on whether or not I'm approved for giant squid...but then again, not a day goes by where I can actually get through an entire day of email so I have over 6000 emails to catch up on in my gmail.....(sigh again) maybe tomorrow, which is what I always say LOL
I better head out of here and get some other things done. I'm thinking of doing another blogspot...I would title it something like My Frugal Week and share recipes, things that I do to save money, shopping trips etc. What do you think?

Good Morning! Darn me, I just agreed to go in and work my old job for the day. Little did I think about the fact that I am doing so on my first smoke free day...well, maybe that will help me out. I have to walk to work but today's high is 70 so it should be a nice day.
Malachi did get to come home yesterday but he's just not right...his front legs are staying way too far apart when he tries to walk...he can barely get up and down the stairs, well, he can't without falling. The animal shelter claimed he was still goofy from the anesthetic but that doesn't sound right to me.
I got to do my Walgreens shopping last night. I will post on gather about that sometime later today. I got so busy yesterday that I didn't get any of my gather groups done, I will have to do double today. I posted a couple photos of Malachi and a post about him being home, and I did another post on Jasmine being vegetarian.
I only just updated my mycoolcontests squidoo lens as I won another prize on mycoolcontests yesterday. I only put in enough modules to show 15 prizes, but I'm thinking now that I will just keep adding more as I win more prizes.
No other news here, I will be taking a LONG nap after work because I barely slept at all last night.

This will be short. No school today due to the danger of too much snow on the roofs and I way overslept when I have so much to get done today. I need to do all I can on here plus complete crocheting this plarn shopping bag to get it up for sale before my party time. I've done my Monday cleaning upstairs...that took me a couple of hours.

Good Morning. It's definitely a snow day here today. I woke up to turn on the news and here we have 18 inches so far and it's still snowing.
They have postponed the event that I was to do child care for until tomorrow afternoon. I'm not sure if Headstart is still going to take part or not, so I am not sure if I will end up working tomorrow or not. Many many places are closed and if anyone is smart they are just staying in their house. Below is a picture that I took out our back door at 8 am this morning.

I have no real plans today other than the normal cleaning and doing what I can on the computer. I am, however, going to bake a couple of apple pies today. Great day to have the oven going. I may even tell them no if they call me to do that child care tomorrow. It's sure hard to want to go outdoors at all with this much snow out there.
I did end up updating a squidoo page yesterday. I won a really nice bracelet on mycoolcontests so added it to my page. It's a lot of fun checking to see if I win something each day. Mycoolcontests

Good Morning!
Man, with the extra cleaning, extra dr. appt to take my mom to, and watching 2 shows upstairs, I went to bed last night feeling like it was such a wasted day. I know tha it wasn't. It's important that I help to clean upstairs even though I live in the basement. I worked on coupons during the 2 shows and now have them in my notebook up to the letter P. And, I did make it through most of my internet programs during the day too.
I wasn't planning on anything extra at gather, then that bill collector called me for a 3rd time. I'm telling you I would remember a loan, and one that I paid on for 2 years. Come on, this can NOT be mine! I posted on gather about it again, but won't share that here with you all.
I also wasn't planning on getting a squidoo lens updated yesterday either, but ended up winning a prize at mycoolcontests, so added that to my page. Mycoolcontests
It's a fun site to check each day even though I do need more referrals so that I have more entries each day in order to have a better chance of winning.
Today's plans include doing what I can on the computer, getting chicken in the crockpot for supper. I am going to mix some of it in with the frozen broccoli and cheese, open a jar of applesauce and serve dinner rolls for our supper before bowling this evening. I also have to get my mother to her Thursday dr. appt.
I really don't think the van is going to make it much further. Now we smell gas when we drive and we already know that aside from the rod going out, that has warped the bearing that gas is getting in to the oil. I'm thankful for the over 300 miles we have been able to drive it.
That's it for today folks..better get up and put the chicken in the crockpot before that slips my mind (I'm good at doing that lately) Have a great Tuesday!

Good Morning! High today is to be in the 80's...record high! It's 50 now so I do believe it will make it.
We didn't end up leaving the van at the shop yesterday. The mechanic said with the rod going out I would just be wasting my money replacing the bearing as in 2-3 months the rod will misshape and wear it out again. We are opting now for buying another motor to put in it.
The mechanic said I'm not going to hurt it anymore than it already is by continuing to drive it. It will eventually go all the way out, but hopefully not before we get the motor replaced. Please continue to pray that we get this whole thing worked out.
I will be taking Elizabeth, my oldest daughter, for a sonogram today. That will tell us a due date closer to being correct as well as maybe the sex of the child. She is hoping for another boy. Allen is hoping mom has a boy too.

Afternoon all. This will be short today as I've been sick since I went to bed last night. It's 4 pm now and I'm just feeling better enough to think I actually want to try sitting in front of the computer.
The Christmas party for work was nice yesterday and I'm glad I went. There were lots that wanted to tell me goodbye, give me a hug and tell me that I will be missed. Afterwards I was able to get a ride to Wal Mart to pick up a few groceries. I cam home to find my mother sick...and so it goes.
Praying that no one is sick today, tonight or tomorrow morning so we can all make it to church for the special service before Christmas.

I don't think there will be too much excitement today. I am off work. I hope to get these other 7 listings done on homeschoolbuy, build at least one more squidoo lens, and then do anything else that I can get done online.
At some point we have to get out and pay for new tags for the van...other than than, no plans outside the house. Woo Hoo! I'm going to think today is Friday LOL

Good Morning...well I guess...
I got off work yesterday, took Heather right to her math tutoring. Then I went to pick up Allen from school to get to his dentist appt. On the way there I had to pick up my son and get him to work. Allen ended up having 2 teeth pulled instead of one. We got done at the dentist just in time to find out that my daughter was still working out of town and I had to go and pick up my granddaughters from school. I got home from that, and went to just run into the house for a few minutes before having to leave to get my mom to her doctor appt. when we hear "ssssssssssss" It was the front tire of the van going flat. So much for taking her to the dr, she had to quickly call a friend and get a ride.
Today is Steve's day off work and he is going to get me to work and back, but I also must do some grocery shopping. I have no idea how we are going to fix the tire as there is no money. I've had to spend my emergency savings this past week to buy milk, eggs, bread and margarine. Nothing left! I don't get paid until the 15th. ggggrrrr to money!
On a brighter note, I did manage to quickly build another squidoo lens yesterday morning. This one is on mycoolcontests.com. I hope you will click from the left and read more details on it as it's lots of fun and I really enjoy winning the prizes. I will edit the lens at some point to include pics of what I have won, might get to that today, not sure. Here is the banner just to click on over to the site.

It was a very pleasant day temperature wise despite downpours of rain most of the morning. It seems it's going to be another nice day today. Looks like it could rain some more.
We are getting ready to head out to the grocery store. I have my list and my coupons ready. I am taking my coupon box with me just in case I find something else.
