Life has gotten so busy for me. It's time for me to post here....let you know what is up....and work on getting my blog going again!
The busy busy time started the week of Bible school. The week after that we were at family Bible camp for the week.
The following week I got into a little accident in the parking lot at the grocery store. So, the lady's insurance company was fast to get to me and cut me a check for the damage. After that was history....we spent days looking for a different car I could buy. A week ago today my kids drove to a town 60 miles away and bought me a 1994 Lincoln Town Car. It's looks good....but stalls on idle some. I'm hoping and praying that will be a simple fix.

We also were finally able to get a kitten. He's going to be expensive to keep, but well worth it. I've so missed having a cat over the past year. You can see photos in my gather article here:

This past week we've had my boyfriend's nephews staying with us. My grandson also stayed the week to give them someone else to "play" with.
I've still been doing my Walgreen's shopping each week, but the deals seem so few now. I am hearing rumors of a new rewards program to earn gift cards. I don't think I will like it because I've so loved having the instant "cash" with the register rewards. I am just reading about it here and there, can't find anything on the Walgreen's website itself.
I've also been able to do some coupon grocery shopping as well, which is always fun for me. On one trip I had to have my daughter drive me in between cars. She was amazed when the total after coupons was less than half of what it was before. That made me feel good.
I am finishing up some crafts for my next giveaway here on my blog. Be on the look out for that coming soon.
I am in hopes in the near future to also have the opportunity to get some sponsored giveaways going.
I am also hoping starting this week to get back into my regular "groove" both online and around the house.

I didn't get to sleep in on this first day of public school being out. My son called me late last night to tell me he needed a ride to court early this morning.
I came home from that and did my usual Larry Burkett post on gather, but I also put in my Grocery Shopping 5/20/09 as well.
If only I could ever for once have all my coupons cut and at least in my abc file box I would sure be much better off. I have to find myself searching in the file box, in my stack of uncut coupons and in my binder when preparing for a shopping trip. It's very time consuming all the way around, but well worth it in the end.
I am so ready to just fall back into bed! I just got back from picking up my son again. He's going to work to get my lawnmower running and also check the brakes on the Thunderbird as they squeal. Outside plans today include Ariel and Araya's Headstart graduation and taking my mom to her dr. appt. I will get a nap in here shortly if I can.
I am promising myself only a very few games at iwon...yeah right, I say that every day. Can I do it? I really need to be concentrating on selling things and the paid to click sites where I actually earn, not playing a game where I only have the very slightest chance of winning something playing.
I'm off for today as now we need to go get a little gas for the lawnmower...run run run.

Good Morning! Technically, I can't say that for myself. I won't really go into it except to say I thought I finally was going to have a vehicle and now the cylinoid is probably out. If you want to read my Morning Rant feel free to do so over on gather.
On a good note...today is the last day of school!!!! Which means the alarm no loner has to be set for 6:45 and I no longer have the worry of Allen not getting to bed on time and him not wanting to get up in the morning for school! woo hoo!!! The girls still have school tomorrow, but mostly it's just a fun day and their Headstart graduation. I'm glad they decided to let other schools out a day early (due to construction needing to get started) so that Allen can go watch his little sisters graduation. Will I have the car back to drive? I might if all they have to do is change the cylinoid and they get it done.
No plans today outside the house. It's laundry day and I still hope to get more things priced and ready for the yard sale coming up.
For now I am off in my attempt to make some money...I sure need to make some sales and earn on some of my other sites. Speaking of that, I guess squidoo took away the $10 minimum to get paid? I found the $5.23 that I made this month in my paypal last night. I'm sure fine with that. I've been using my paypal to put gas in these cars he's let me drive over the weekend, then gas in the Thunderbird yesterday and need to "restock" my paypal now.

Good Morning!
It's a good thing I got done what I did yesterday morning. No sooner than I had my lunch that guy brought me the car....which brought on being gone a lot. I took it to my son's to have him look at it again, took it to the tire guy and replaced one of the tires, and took my mom to transfer the insurance. It's a 1989 Ford Thunderbird. The body is somewhat beat up but not enough to make it look too bad. The interior is torn up on the dash. And,it still needs a lot of wiring work for the electrical stuff, but I am hoping to keep this one. He has the car again to try to fix the loose wire that is making one brake light not work all the time.
Really I have no other news today. If I get the car back I will take my mom to the dr this afternoon. Otherwise I just want to concentrate a lot today on the websites I do to earn and attempt to get as much done as I can in my gmail. I also want to get some things priced for the yard sale. I hope to get all the books on the huge bookcase looked through before the end of the week. I can't move all the books with us as there is no place to keep them.
I cashed out at gather yesterday for $25 in amazon after getting my last $50 card I cashed out for in yesterday's mail. I'm real close to buying the laptop at amazon, but I am afraid not close enough to be able to order it by the first week of June, which was my goal. I just checked and I still need to get in at least another $75 in amazon. hhmmmm

Good Morning. I sure hope it doesn't rain today...I am very tired of this rain every day...sigh...I know the moisture is needed and I'm sure it's helping my garden.
I need to get a LOT done today. This house is past disaster area. I was doing great with my card file but slipped up when I got addicted to the mahjong at iwon.com. Now I'm also playing games on pogo..why?...because I got a free 10 day club pogo membership. Nothing would be wrong with playing the games if I could actually win something, but the chances at either site are so slim it's pathetic.
I really want to get these books listed on homeschoolbuy today. Heather and I both have eye doctor appointments this afternoon. I still have no car. He let me use one over the weekend..it looked pretty nice, even had a radio in it and all doors and windows work, but they can't figure out how to make it run on all 6 cylinders. I don't think the junk man will ever find me anything that will actually run and look decent too.
I did get in my Mail Call! Week of May 3 post on gather. It was exciting to get my $250 sweepstakes win check in! Now I can go make another payment to the cable office and give my mom some rent money too.
I'm taking turns doing something on the computer then setting the timer for 15 minutes of housecleaning. Better get back to that timer and more housework.

Good Morning!
Here we are to Monday. It looks like it's going to be a nicer day today. Today is my weekly cleaning upstairs day. All I've gotten done so far are some dishes and some decluttering of stuff that doesn't belong in the kitchen.
I sure hope I can get my mother motivated to get a bunch of stuff ready to try to sell at the neighborhood yard sale that is coming up!
I didn't get those books listed on homeschoolbuy like I wanted. I ended up spending a lot of time there editing to make sure my listings stay in. I am in hopes of getting the books listed today. I can't sell them if they aren't listed!
I was "test driving" this 1986 Ford LTD over the weekend that the guy that sold me the van wants me to take in place of the van. It's not a bad looking car....from a distance LOL Up close it's not so great. It has some problems though with the brakes, the windows, the doors, the power steering and the ignition. He has the car now supposely going to fix the problems for me this week. It's also really dirty as they've had a window down during all this rain, he's supposed to clean it out too. I still want to keep the van. He is willing to give me a motor if I have someone to pull that one then pull the one in the van.....just not really finding anyone willing to do that much work for me. The never ending battle to have my own transportation lives on.
I drove up and did my Walgreen's shopping yesterday. This was my best trip moneywise so far. I didn't get that post on gather yet, but will put it up in a bit. I did post my April Earning Stats and my weekly mail call, Mail Call! Week of April 26 if you are interested.
No plans outside the house today so it will be all the housework and computer time I can get in. The grandkids have made a real mess down here! It's far past time to get rid of the majority of these toys so they can't do this to me. I'm off to get my housework done upstairs.

Good Morning! It was after supper time last night when I realized I hadn't put in a blog for the day.
We got really busy Wednesday afternoon and got the garden planted....7 tomato plants, 2 banana pepper plants, 4 bell pepper plants, 9 Blue lake bean plants, 2 strawberry plants and a row of lettuce. Still not as large as I would like, but larger than last season. We also went to the awards ceremony for Awanas. Jasmine got a certificate for perfect attendance, another for finishing a book. She also got a medal for finishing a book as well as a nice Bible for teenage girls for moving up to Trek.
Allen ended up sick with fever and sore throat Wednesday evening. I got stuck playing this game at iwon...mahjong dimensions. I stayed up way too late and when I was ready to go to bed Allen was up with a stomach ache. He is still home today as they aren't allowed back to school until their fever has been down for a full 24 hours.
I got some videos in on gather yesterday, then it gave up on me and wouldn't load anymore. I will try again today. I'm cashing out with gather today for $50 in amazon but still need a minimum of $75 more in amazon to make my goal of buying a laptop. Need to bust a move to get it in the time I would like...which is before we head to the Bible camp at the end of June for family camp.
The guy that sold me my van says he has another vehicle he can let me drive until we find something else. I need to call and check with him on that. Heather and I both have dr. appts this afternoon and I need to call and make the girls dentist appts.

Good morning! OMG! I way over slept this morning. I guess I needed the rest after so many nights of having a hard time getting to sleep.
Bowling is over for the season but I have a church council meeting this evening. I am also working all afternoon at Headstart doing childcare while parents volunteer for highway cleanup. In other words, I won't get much done around the house or on the computer before it's time to go to work.
Sorry for such a rant yesterday...the rest of the day went much better. My daughter's ex husband said he had a car that he wasn't using, so if we wanted to insure it and put a battery in it he would let us use it. My daughter sold her car in the back yard for junk to pay the insurance, and we took the battery out of my van. That didn't last long...already for some reason it won't start. (sigh) Which means either we figure it out fast or we have to find a ride to get the girls to their Headstart class and me to work.
I still couldn't get videos to upload into gather yesterday. When I get off work I will restart the computer and see if that helps anything. I really want to share all the videos I took at Easter time.
I won another prize on mycoolcontests last night, so once again my mycoolcontests lens is updated. I'm very appreciative of whoever it was that signed up under me giving me another entry in for the prizes! MyCoolContests I've not heard anything yet on whether or not I'm approved for giant squid...but then again, not a day goes by where I can actually get through an entire day of email so I have over 6000 emails to catch up on in my gmail.....(sigh again) maybe tomorrow, which is what I always say LOL
I better head out of here and get some other things done. I'm thinking of doing another blogspot...I would title it something like My Frugal Week and share recipes, things that I do to save money, shopping trips etc. What do you think?
