Writer's Unite 7/16/15

Welcome to another week of sharing your writing. I enjoyed checking out what was shared last week.
I, myself, have not done much writing except a few blog posts here. Seriously, one day I will get back to writing regularly on bubblews, but right now there are other things taking precedence....both online and offline.
In the meantime, keep sharing each week :)

Writer's Unite 1/22/15

Usually morning is my best work time on the computer, but I seem to be lacking motivation for some reason this morning.  I'm sure this happens to everyone and there are a myriad of reasons for it.

Currently I am doing a challenge on bubblews that was put out by user Magnolia.  She doesn't normally do challenges, but hopes this one will help get more interaction going on the site.
She has put out a week long challenge to write 6 posts per day with 10 interactions for each post.

I have always done a minimum of 10 interactions between my posts, so that wasn't a problem.  I didn't think I could do 6 posts a day, but I did it on the first day and have been able to for 3 days now.
It's been nice running in to several other users who are also participating in her challenge.

User Rusty2rusty also put out a similar challenge.  She challenges us all to interact with 10 different users after we put in a post.  I know several are going with hers.

It's not hard to go visit 10 posts by others after you put in your own post, and in some ways 10 seems like a very low number compared to the amount of people that are still writing there.   I often have gone way past that 10 in between posts.

Earning is still way down, and I know that many of you that read my blog have totally gone away from bubblews.   I've been asked a lot as to why I'm still there.  The best answers are that I like it there, I'm confortable there, and most of all, it's my choice.  


As far as my blog, I messed up my goal already this year to post daily as this past week I missed both Saturday and Tuesday putting in a post.  I'm not going to tear myself down for it, even though I am a little disappointed in myself.

Writer's Unite 12/11/14

It's Thursday again, and time to share some of the things you've been writing.  Actually, what you share doesn't have to be something you have recently written.  If you want to share older content, please do so!  In fact, I'm going to share 1 of my older blog posts today and one of my older bubblews posts.

This year is coming to an end. I'm already making goals for my writing next year.  In fact, I just got out a notebook to be specifically for taking writing notes.  Notes of what I am writing, what I am updating, what I am sharing where.  This will keep my mind clearer on where I'm at.

Writer's Unite--11/20/14

Curiously I decided to search Writer's Unite instead of just coming to my blog.  Sadly, my blog wasn't shown even on page 12 of the search.   I do put writers unite as a tag.   Suggestions on other tags so that it will show up?
I should have searched BEFORE choosing a name since there are already tons of Writer's Unite websites and social media groups!

I have 2 open days each week where I don't have a regular weekly post.  That's Tuesday and Saturday.  Why can't I get in to the habit of writing posts on those days?  Tuesday is a busy day for me, but I have no excuse for Saturday.  Saturday is generally the day that I actually don't have somewhere to be away from home.
I need to work on this!

I would like to throw a reminder out that I have linky's to share your work in my Super Sunday Review posts, All Business Monday posts, and my Frugal Friday posts.   Those are specific---share your review posts on Sunday, Business type posts on Monday, and frugal type posts on Friday.
Writer's Unite is anything goes---whatever posts you choose to share.

Just a heads up---since next Thursday is Thanksgiving, there won't be a weekly Writer's Unite post.  I will be busy ALL day with family as I suspect many of you will be.

Writer's Unite 11/13/14

Welcome and we have made it to another Thursday!

How many of you have joined TSU?    I wasn't going to, then talked in to it, and glad that I did.
I've been doing a lot of sharing of my writing there.  It seems to be a great place to share and earn at the same time.

Busy busy as always here.   I'm not writing blog posts as I should, but the last couple of days I've written more on bubblews instead.
I did 'get hit in the head' yesterday with something I should have been doing all along in my blog posts.   That is linking up key words in my posts to products and such elsewhere.  No, I won't go overboard with it, but why did it take me so long to learn about that?!

Onward!  Keep writing and sharing!

Writer's Unite Link Up 9/18/14

Good Thursday to all.  Fall is in the air.   We are having cooler mornings and evenings.  Halloween will soon be upon us.
I know many of you are busy updating hubs and writing on other platforms about Fall and it's related activities.
I've still been really busy and haven't gotten anything new written up on my blog other than sharing some of the recipes that I had in lenses on squidoo into blog posts here in my Frugal Friday posts.

I will continue to share some of my older bubblews posts, ones that I will then also pin to my pinterest boards as well.

Writer's Unite Weekly Link Up

With the "demise" of squidoo, I am changing this weekly link up to a Writer's link up.
You can read all the information in the linky info below.

I am still in the process of saving text and images from my lenses.  I have deleted about half of my lenses.  Half of those are ones I'm not keeping.  Others will turn in to bubblews posts.  Others will turn in to posts here on my blog.

I am still feeling betrayed and upset over the whole squidoo thing, but in the long run I think I am going to be better for it.
I will be fueled up for lots of posts other places and I'm pretty sure that I will earn a lot more than I ever made through squidoo.

Speaking of earning, I've read that now squidoo is going to pay us what is in our account as long as it's at least $1, even if we have deleted the lenses.  I can hope that's true, but I will take the small loss if they don't.

On to the linky!!   I hope to see lots of links in each week from now on.

p.s.  You will notice that I messed up the html somehow in the buttons on my sidebar.  I have NO idea why it's deleting the parts for the text area.  I'm putting it in, hitting save and it's gone.  I click edit, put it back in, save again, and it disappears again.  I'm going to have to find someone who can help me figure out what is going on.
