I went straight for the toys and games keychain category to choose my 2 keychains for the purpose of this review. I chose this category since I have 9 grandchildren. Oh gosh...there are so many just in this category that it was hard for me to just pick two. To be truthful, I want about all of them!
I ended up choosing the Etch a Sketch keychain and the UNO game keychain---shown in the photo below.
We have had a lot of fun with both of these keychains. All of us have had our fun with the tiny Etch-A-Sketch. Too cute! We've played a couple of games of UNO with the teeny tiny cards...so much fun!
One lucky blog reader will win their choice of the Etch-A-Sketch keychain or the UNO game keychain! Enter using the rafflecopter form below. ***Update!! I was just informed that they have changed the giveaway guidelines and the winner will now be allowed to choose the keychain of their choice for a prize!****
Disclaimer: I received my choice of 2 keychains for the purpose of this review and giveaway from wholesalekeychain.com. I was not compensated in any other way. Any opinions are my own.

Frugal Friday Link-Up---4 Uses for Peanut Butter
Happy Frugal Friday! I'm getting a slow start on my day, at least getting to the computer.
It's been another busy week here. I can't think of anything really frugal that I did this week. I do always try to live a frugal lifestyle. The only shopping I did this past week was to buy gifts for my daughter to give her boyfriend----she picked them out of course, I just told her how much I had to spend. Saddest part---we got home from Wal Mart and I found a gift card for about the same amount I spent sitting in our mailbox. I earned it doing a survey for our local newspaper. Oh well, that will pay for some things the next time we get out there.
I am still working from my stash of craft supplies only. I have so many things that I want to get done! Getting started on some Christmas gifts is a must!
This week I am sharing 4 uses for peanut butter from the 99 Cent Solutions book:
1. Help your pet take their medicine. Push the pill into the center of a teaspoon of peanut butter. This prevents them from finding it if you put it in their regular food and then not taking it. Just give them the little lump of peanut butter like a treat.
2. Catch that mouse! Mice actually prefer peanut butter over cheese. It won't harden and dry up like a piece of cheese either. (My mom has been using peanut butter on her mousetraps for years!)
3. Take off a price tag. Rub a dab of peanut butter on the price sticker and let it sit for a few minutes. It will wipe away easily with a paper towel or other rag. This also removes all the remains of the glue.
4. Take out the odor of fried fish. Add a dollop of smooth peanut butter to the oil before you fry fish. It will absorb the smell while you enjoy the fish frying for dinner. And, you won't have to keep smelling it days later.

Squidoo Hoppng--Pinterest!
Ok, I'm slow. I hesitated joining pinterest for the mere fact that so many were talking about getting lost there for hours looking at things. I do too many things on the internet to get lost there....or so I thought.
It wasn't until after I joined that I realized we even have pin it on lenses for easy pinning! I know I had been reading in the squidoo facebook group about others getting more views after pinning things.
I'm amazed at how many are following me each day. I don't even know how they are finding me!
I do need some help with pinterest. I don't need the help with squidoo lenses since the pin it button is already there for us, but I need help with pin it buttons on my blog. Is there a way to have the pin it automatically show up in blog posts, or is there a code that I have to put in to each post? I'm going to experiment with that in this post. I just know I am seeing pin it in blog posts, and I am seeing blog posts being pinned.
What are your habits on pinning? For right now I am trying to pin a lens by someone else for every one of my own that I am pinning. And, so far I've only pinned a few of my own lenses....the first one to experiment....most others just as I have updated the lens. (I'm still working on my squidoo organized notebook) Should I add the Follow me on Pinterest to each of my lenses?
I look forward to any and all input on Pinterest!
Now, onward.....I didn't build any new lenses this week but I did update some:

Question-----would you all like me to make a suggestion each week on lenses to link up? For example: link up your 2 bottom lenses or link up 2 lenses with a rank between this number and that number or link up your newest lenses etc? I can do something like this but you could also still feel free to link up anything. Please give me some input as I really would love to see lots of lenses linked up each week. Am I right in thinking that the linky works as backlinks?
Thanks!!

WIP Wednesday--Feels Like No Progress
No progress on my cross magnets.
No progress on the scrappy quilt for church other than drawing some of the lines on some of the larger squares.
I only made it into my craft room to sew on my quilt once---hoping to get in there again this evening. I still don't know if I have enough material to make it as large as I wanted. No problem on the strips as you can see from the picture, the problem is the material I am using in between the squares and for the binding.
We met again for sewing club at church. This is the 3rd of these polyester tops that we now have tied. We have just one left to go. I have to admit that I am thankful that we are taking next week off from working since it's Valentine's Day.
I did get in some work on my baby blocks. I have more squares complete and the yarn ready for what I need of the rest to make 6 blocks. I'm taking these mostly with me in my tote to work on while out and about.
Last but not least, we are at day 39 of the Granny a Day challenge. I have several squares worked ahead and just adding one on to my blanket each day. I'm working 1 up and the next day 1 across for now until I get it the length that I want. You can't quite see all of the squares in the photo. It is just a little wider than our king size bed.

Homeschool Journal--Week 27
Considering how extraordinarily busy I was last week away from home, I'm so pleased to look at my book and see just how much schoolwork was completed despite it! (I keep a notebook and each week I am writing down just what she is doing, along with the amount of time spent on each, since time needs to be counted for high school credit.)
I knew how busy the week was going to be so I put extra assignments on her sheet in the assignment folder. She did a great job getting them completed!
Tuesday the gals and I met for sewing club again at church. Here's another picture as Jasmine gets to work on assignments while I work on quilts.
We are still reading the books we checked out from the library on England. Three books to complete, and we are reading in all 3 of them at once. We met with her youth group last Wednesday to learn more about the trip. I wish I had taken better notes on the places they know they are going to visit. I'm hoping this week she will bring home a print out of the slide show presentation. This will be a trip of a lifetime for her!
I've taken her to the doctor about her knee. It's been hurting her for months now and I've let things get in the way of getting her to the dr. We are waiting on test results now, so please keep her in your prayers. I'm praying it's not anything serious.
What I am really thinking is-----I want days to stay home!!! My quilt guild and the sewing club at church are usually only once a month. I so enjoy going, but when it becomes weekly, the enjoyment goes somewhat away as I get stressed about other things that aren't getting done.
My day just goes so much smoother when we can get up at home, get started on school work, get the schooling done, and then move on.
I'm looking forward to summer at this point already---are you? In hopes of getting myself into a better routine---oh gosh, after almost 14 years of homeschooling why haven't I settled on a set routine?? Oh yeah, it's homeschool, it's not a requirement! :)
