This past week has been a lot about coupons for me again. I can say that I actually have all of my coupons cut and in to my binder.
I have some lists printed and hand written for shopping both today and after the new sales start on Sunday.

I am getting back to shopping at Walgreens. After another trip or 2, I should be back to not spending much at all out of pocket. Too bad the programs I do don't offer Walgreens gift cards for redemption. Mypoints does, but I don't work in it like I should.
I spent $9.60 on what you see in the picture and earned 6000 balance reward points and took home a $3 register reward.
You can read more about it HERE.
Yesterday was a small stock up on toilet paper and oatmeal. $5.56 spent.
I am working hard to keep up this time with my couponing. First of all for the savings. Secondly, it provides a lot of the gifts that I give out. Thirdly, and maybe most important, is that I enjoy it and it makes me happy.
You know what they say--'When mama's happy, everyone's happy'
Now I am heading in to TSU to search through several coupon related hashtags to finish up my lists for today's shopping.

Writer's Unite 3/12/15
I finally took the time last week to search to find out how to fix my buttons so that the coding shows up to be copied and pasted. I also eliminated a couple of pages that weren't being used. I still have more work to do on the cosmetic side of my blog, but at least it's a start.
I would love to know how to make the banner at the top larger, and in the center for one thing.
I've been doing well writing daily on my blog here. I cut down on bubblews from 6 posts a day back down to 4 posts daily.
I'm trying to participate more in a few facebook groups that I belong to.

WIP Wednesday 3/11/15
I feel like I've had a pretty productive sewing week even though I didn't finish anything.
Let's start with my yellows for the soscrappy blog.
I am trying my hand at crazy quilting. A gal at church suggested that I make a bag with it. I like that idea.
I used the yellow squares with the blue ones and think I will finish this up as a doll blanket for my youngest granddaughters birthday this year.
Yesterday was sewing club at church. I finished the 3rd and last of the simple 4 patch tops that the ladies will sandwich and finish.
I have a good start on this wall hanging that I plan to donate to the silent auction at the upcoming quilt show. It's my first time to try the machine quilting using the patterns. Wish me luck!
I am still working on the pink hexagon table topper. I have it sandwiched and ready to start the hand sewing inside each hexagon.
Last but not least, I have finished putting my button jigsaw puzzle. Now I just need to buy some puzzle glue, put some hangers on the back and get it hung in my sewing room for decoration.
I did add a couple of things to my UFO list.
UFO's:
Rectangle quilt
challenge wall hanging
GoodNight Irene quilt/wall hanging
Yo-Yo Table runner
Emerald Island Fusique table runner
Five and Dime quilt
Fractured Pineapple quilt
Charming Stars quilt
Brown half square triangle quilt
5 sets of doll blanket, pillows and rug
Hexagon flower table runner
Blue hexagon table topper
Pink hexagon table topper
Wall hanging for quilt guild
yellow crazy quilt lined bag

The Flintstones and WWE: Stone Age Smackdown (Movie Pack Giveaway)
When Fred loses his family's vacation money, he hatches one of his hair brained plans to get it back. It's a sports entertainment spectacle that involves throwing his best bud, Barney into the wrestling ring with the likes of John Cenastone (John Cena), Rey Mysteriopal (Rey Mysterio) and even The Undertaker, with Fred himself as event promoter! The crowds roar, the "clams" are pouring in from ticket sales and even Mr. McMagma (Vince McMahon) is taking notice of all the hoopla. Including all-star appearances from The Boulder Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Marble Henry (Mark Henry) and Daniel Bry-Rock (Daniel Bryan), it's time to get the whole family together for hard-hitting, side-splitting laughs from the most epic event in all of prehistory!

All Business Monday --Staying On Track
Welcome to another week!
Last week I posted my online earnings for February. You can find the post HERE if you missed it.
I've been staying on track in my efforts to earn online. In the past 2 weeks I have:
Listed a set of the pink washcloths in my shophandmade store. Sadly that website appears to be totally down. IF it comes back up I need to take the time to copy those listings to etsy and zibbet, so praying it does come back up. If not then it means extra inventory time to know what I have listed there.
(Lesson learned is that I need to keep a running inventory on file of what is in each shop.)
I got an order for 12 of the washcloths from my zibbet shop, which also made it the first order I've ever gotten there.
I finished sewing 9 lined bags such as you see in my photo today. I have 3 of them listed in my etsy shop.
I've listed 2 books over on half.com, one of which sold right away.
I'm slowly getting caught up on reviews that need to be done. I'm working on getting sponsored posted mixed in with my regular posts. I started with this one.

Super Sunday Reviews -- Makery Sewing
Makery Sewing Over 30 projects for the home, to wear, and to give.
Written by Kate Smth and published by Mitchell Beazley.
Available April 7, 2015. Put your pre-order in now!
Maker Sewing is the latest craft book by Kate Smith. She is the owner of the thriving Makery sewing cafe workshops in the UK. She's been busy with her needle and sewing machine to ring you this collection of 30-plus sewing projects. The projects span fashion, gifts, and home ideas.
There are several projects in Makery Sewing that I look forward to making:
Pajama shorts
Hooped laundry bag
Picnic cutlery wraps
Tool apron
Doorstop
Table place mats
Storage box
Makery Sewing is suitable for beginners and is very user friendly. It has clear instructions, time guidelines, handy tips and the required tool lists.
Measurements are given in both metric as well as standard.
In fact, each projects includes pictures of the tools and supplies you will need for each project as you can see on this page on making a dog collar:
There is a full chapter dedicated to stitches and tips. It also includes the necessary patterns in a pull out section at the back of the book:
Will you be getting your Makery on?
