Thursday December 11

Good morning! It's a crisp chilly morning with no wind.
Yesterday was just bad....my son drove over here needing a driver to take him around, I was the only one here. As soon as I got done with him he did get me to my dr. appt. However, no one picked me up and I had to walk home...now that sucked! Thankfully there wasn't much wind, but it was only 30 degrees. I was in a bad mood and my legs felt cold the rest of the evening.
Today Heather has her math tutoring so hopefully my daughter will get her there and home. This evening I have church council meeting but I have a man from church picking me up for that.

I am working on some dish scrubbie orders. I need to have those done by tomorrow evening to be off in Saturday's mail. I still have several hair scrunchies to crochet. Some of the scrunchies I am sending to a lady on the Christmas wishlist group who is collecting little things to make stockings for the needy. I also need to get all my Christmas cards addressed and ready to mail as well. This is always such a busy time of the year for everyone.

Today I am featuring the squidoo lens that I built on the traffic exchanges that I do. I am signed up for more that was is listed, but these are the ones that I enjoy the most. Traffic Galore

Sunday December 7

Good afternoon! I chose to stay off here this morning and do some things around the house and get the kids ready for church. Steve took us to church this morning for the Christmas dinner afterwards, it was really nice to go.
Last night Steve took his laundry to the laundry mat, then while it washed we ate at Kentucky Fried Chicken...while it dried we shopped at Dollar General. I got the rest of the little gifts for Allen, Ariel and Araya...and gained 2 more yellow bags towards working on the yellow Barbie dress.

While I am talking about that, I will share the link to my gather post on the blue Barbie dress that is complete. I am crocheting these with plastic bags. Once done with the dresses I am going to work here and there on a shopping bag. It's really interesting and fun, not to mention a great way to use those plastic shopping bags too. I had a suggestion on my Deathnote squidoo lens to make the photos larger to pop more. I did that last night, so I will make that today's featured lens in my blog. Death Note (anime)

Today's plans pretty well include vegging out here in front of the computer. I am going to crochet in these 2 bags on the Barbie dress, wrap some more gifts and crochet on more hair scrunchies while sitting here.

Tuesday November 18

Good Morning.
Listening to the radio it says today high is 56. Yesterday was about the same, and it wasn't bad outside because there was little wind.
Allen has a dentist appt. this morning, and just in time that my daughter can drop me off at work on the way to take him. After I get off Heather has an appt at the Health Dept. I'm sure hoping my daughter will take her there too. I'm not sure what we are doing about my mom's dr. appt this afternoon. Bowling isn't a problem as Steve picks me up for that each week.

I scanned 2 of the hair scrunchies that I have made and posted to gather. The problem is that for some reason my scanner shows them some ugly brown color over the pretty red that they are. I got a lot of nice comments on them. Hair Scrunchies That I Made

Homeschoolbuy still has the glitch of closing auctions with bids before they actually end. It's making it hard for me to actually get the sales from the bids. I have put in a contact to the owner one last time asking him to please figure out what is going on. If he can't figure it out I really should just put all my 90 books over to blujay. If I end up doing that, it will be a Thanksgiving weekend project.

Monday November 17

Good Morning.
The bad news is that my son did come and get the hood open. He fixed the latch on that, but found the radiator to be dry. When refilling it he discovered the water pump is leaking. So it's not the thermostat as I suspected as he said it was going whacko since it was reading air with an empty radiator.
Let's see.....I would rather spend that $100+ towards buying something else (if I even had it). The van has so many other problems, like the exhaust system being held up with hangers, neither door opening from the outside, the rack and pinion being held together with a dog chain and bolt, whatever he found wrong with the chassee and more.

On a craft note, I started crocheting the hair scrunchies yesterday, they seem tobe coming out cute. I will make what I need for Christmas presents, then list the rest of blujay.

I don't have a gather post to share today. I tried again to post a video there with no luck. It went through and processed but when I hit submit it didn't go through.

I'm going to get started on what I can on here before work...which looks like I have to walk, so please say a prayer for me that I do ok there.
