Tuesday September 2

I woke up this morning and realized that I didn't take my mom to the doctor yesterday. They must have been closed for the holiday. Unfortunately for me that adds to my already busy Tuesday schedule, but what can I do?
I started out this morning by taking my son to court on his fines..just a check in court on how he is doing paying them. I am home long enough to get some pictures in on gather and to write this up before I head to work. Right after work I have to take Heather to math tutoring. Then I am home for about 1 1/2 hours before taking my mom to the doctor. Once home from there we will have to hurry with supper before it's time for me to head out for bowling league.

I better head off of here and get myself ready for work. Last Thursday I forgot to put my tennis shoes on and went to work in my sandals, which is a no-no!

Monday September 1 Labor Day

Happy Labor Day!
Good day today,...paid day off work...but bad that it is a no mail day.
I don't have any plans for today except to keep cleaning and organizing what I can here in the basement. Trying to figure out right now just what I am going to do with the stuff on the ping pong table until I am able to get a couple more shelving units to put it on.

I think today's only plans outside the house is my mom's Monday doctor appointment.
Our state fair starts Friday, we will go next Monday when it's $1 day. That whole week is going to just be exhausting!

Sunday August 31

Good afternoon.
We had a flash storm yesterday...seemed it just literally came out of the blue. I took some pics for summer pics at gather....have to make the most of every opportunity until the promo is over.

I got really busy on the basement and getting this stuff organized and then didn't want to stop. I'm about to get back at it. I'm thankful tomorrow is a holiday to give me another full day of working down here. My muscles are getting really sore moving all these boxes from place to place but it sure will be worth it once I am done.

I am finding a lot of things that I think we could sell if only we knew where to sell them. I think there might even be enough old stuff in these boxes to maybe even make enough money to fix the plumbing...again if only I knew where to sell the stuff.

Saturday August 30

Good afternoon to all.
I started out this morning doing a recap post on gather of featured members from my own group. I got that done and realized I better get to the farmers market. I bought apples, potatoes, zucchini and a cantaloupe. From the farmers market I headed out to Home Depot to use my gift card I had earned from gather. I had no idea that shelving cost so much! I ended up using my entire card on some plastic shelving. Then, I did buy a plastic tote on a good sale.
I am finally getting the basement in order...well, attempting anyway. I hauled a bunch of stuff out to the garage last night that should have been taken out there when we moved it. This frees up a space where I am going to put the sturdy card table and pile it with mom's boxes and then put what I can on the shelf that I bought.

By the way, I cashed out for another $50 in amazon on gather yesterday putting me another step closer to getting that laptop.

Friday August 29

Today is Araya's 3rd birthday. My mom is getting the cake in the oven right now, and I will frost it and decorate it once it is cooled.
i am just about to wrap her gift from me, which is a pair of squeaker tennis shoes that I bought online at a party several months ago.

The day is nice, and so far is going well. I will finish reading Superdove today and get my review written either this evening or tomorrow. For today I want to share this with you that I posted on gather. Headstart Kick off--August 22--photo essay

My keyboard is giving me grief with caps..it's not wanting to work and I am having to go over the letter that are to be capitalized over and over. I better think of saving for a new keyboard too...always something.

Thursday August 28

Much better morning today not waking up to a headache. I did sleep in 20 minutes past the alarm going off.
I work today then I am off work until Tuesday with Monday being a paid holiday, got to love those.
Heather will have her math tutoring today and my mom her doctor appointment, but I believe that is it. I wish my check would come in from wellness360 so that I can do a little grocery shopping.

Today I am going to share my weekly freebies post from gather. As of next week I am changing the title to mail call. Freebies--Week of August 17

Wednesday August 27

What a morning! I went to bed with a migraine. I took an Excedrin migraine which usually helps to not wake up with a migraine, but I did. I fixed my breakfast drink, took another Excedrin migraine and just sat until the pain started to subside. So...I got a really late start this morning on the computer and I have to be at work in 15 minutes.
We woke up to lots of lightening and loud thunder. I think it is supposed to rain most all day.
We kicked some behind in bowling last night and we had lots of fun.
I took some pictures for the summerpics promo at gather, but I will share those another day.

There are no appointment on my calendar today, but this is Ariel and Araya's first day at Headstart. They are excited. With me having the only vehicle it means I have to let Elizabeth take me to work so she can get them to school, then come back and pick me up. The heath department just called to and got Heather in for a 10:35 am appointment, so Liz will also have to take her there.

Tuesday August 26

Good morning!
It's another busy day here. Right after I get off work I have to get Heather to her math tutoring. As soon as Heather is done we have to get Jasmine to her dentist appointment. Then, this evening is our first bowling league night! That I am looking forward to.

I found a van that I want to buy, now I just have to figure out how to come up with the $3000 I need LOL I guess wish me luck there! It is on a lot where I can pay $1000 down and $50 a week if I could figure that part out too.

Monday August 25

Off I will go to work in 45 minutes but I wanted t make sure to get my blogpost in for the day.
I ran through today's busy schedule in yesterday's post. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. I made sure to put the book Superdove in my purse. I am hoping to have it read by Wednesday to get my book review written on it.

I put in 7 photos at gather for the promo this morning. I took some random summer pics yesterday and I hope to get them on to my computer and in to a photo essay this evening. Today I will share part 2 of our trip to the zoo. Hutchins Zoo--August 20--Photo Essay 2

It's going to take me awhile to get in to an internet schedule on what I need to get done before work each day. It will come and things will work out.

Sunday August 24

It has been pouring down rain since about when I woke up this morning. Doesn't look like it will let up anytime soon.
We have chosen to stay home from church this morning, but I do hope to make it to Bible study this evening.
Lord of the Rings movies are in all day starting soon. I plan on watching them as maybe doing so will help me get more in to the Lord of the Rings curriculum that I am doing with the girls.

I have been doing quite a few photo essays along with my regular posts on gather with the promotion going on. Today I will share part 2 of the Zoo. Hutchinson Zoo August 20--Photo Essay 2

We would sort of like to go bowling for the $1 a game this afternoon and practice up for league starting, but then again we don't want to go. Time will tell on that one.
Tomorrow is an EXTREMELY busy day. Allen to school and back, Ariel and Araya both have doctor appointments, Heather has a doctor appointment, my mom has her doctor appointment, we need to shop at Walgreens, mom has Avon orders to deliver, and I have work too!
I won't have much computer time tomorrow at all but will do the best I can.
