Saturday October 17, 2009-freebie link included

oh my my my! It's been over 2 weeks since I've written my blog!
Life's been pretty crazy away from home with extra doctor appointments and such...and I am fervently working on completing these quilts for Christmas on top of that.
As far as the doctor appointments for myself...my doctor tells me that all my bloodwork, x-rays and lab show everything is normal with me. My mammogram showed no signs of cancer.

My youngest daughter also celebrated her 13th birthday in my absence from here. She is officially a teenager now and she had one awesome birthday!!

I've been trying to rethink how I want to do my blog to make it more interesting for my readers. One way is to list at least one freebie each time I post.
Today's freebie is Brunswick free bowling passes to print out. These can be handed out on Halloween night as an extra treat, or used for yourself. I made Giant Squid on squidoo!!! I also graduated Rocketmoms as well. I have been doing a lot of updating over at squidoo, but have a lot more to get done. It's been so much fun being part of the Rocketmom's and I look forward to this next session to start. Keeps the creative juices flowing, so to speak.

I'm still working away at gather too. I just got in another $25 in paypal!! I'm heading out the door to the Goodwill store and Wal-mart for final quilting supplies to finish the quilts.

For now, I will close, but I will try my best to post a little something each day again. Need to get back into my habits here.

Wednesday May 6

Good Morning! It's supposed to hit a high of 80 here today. As of this morning it's still really wet from rain and the sky is no where near close to clear.
Today's plans outside the home include dr. appts. for Heather and Jasmine for their yearly check ups. It's sad that Awanas is over. I think Jasmine will end up starting to go to the youth group at that church soon though on Saturday evenings.
I'm sending in registration for her camp times at the Kansas Bible camp today. She just told me she wants to go to the first session which starts on May 31. I'm also getting us registered for family camp at the end of June.

I didn't get those books listed at homeschoolbuy yet...ggrrr I am so addicted to this dimensions mahjong game at iwon.com...I need help!! LOL Honestly I played nothing but the game for about 5 hours of the day yesterday. That's not going to help me pay any bills...I don't think I would ever be lucky enough to win the jackpot for playing the game anyway.

I did update a squidoo lens My Coupon/Refund Story I was trying to put in the coupons.com box but I guess it's not a code that can be put in to squidoo. Instead I updated my module titles and changed up some of the ebay. I did get the coupons.com here on my blog, so if you want to print coupons from here, I would appreciate it.

Right now I need to head upstairs and see if I can sneak in my bath quick. Getting a bath is no easy task when there are 11 people in the house and only ONE bathroom! Then it's my laundry day too so I need to jump right in and get that started.

Sunday August 24

It has been pouring down rain since about when I woke up this morning. Doesn't look like it will let up anytime soon.
We have chosen to stay home from church this morning, but I do hope to make it to Bible study this evening.
Lord of the Rings movies are in all day starting soon. I plan on watching them as maybe doing so will help me get more in to the Lord of the Rings curriculum that I am doing with the girls.

I have been doing quite a few photo essays along with my regular posts on gather with the promotion going on. Today I will share part 2 of the Zoo. Hutchinson Zoo August 20--Photo Essay 2

We would sort of like to go bowling for the $1 a game this afternoon and practice up for league starting, but then again we don't want to go. Time will tell on that one.
Tomorrow is an EXTREMELY busy day. Allen to school and back, Ariel and Araya both have doctor appointments, Heather has a doctor appointment, my mom has her doctor appointment, we need to shop at Walgreens, mom has Avon orders to deliver, and I have work too!
I won't have much computer time tomorrow at all but will do the best I can.
