Good Morning!
Looks like a little break in the weather, today and tomorrow high is 100º LOL
Then it goes down to 99º and 98º.
I noticed yesterday that gas is down to $3.66, I'm in hopes it continues to go down. I put in 4 gallons on Monday at $3.77 a gallon. The time before that I only put in 3 gallons at $3.86 a gallon.

I finished sewing my table runner while Heather was at her dentist appointment. I did a post about it with a picture on gather. Table Runner

I am off today to work on my traffic exchanges to get my gather articles seen more. I'm still in hopes of reaching the 3,000 pts by the end of this month but still need 2,000 pts! I can't wait until Saturday to post my weekly freebies article as I've had a good week so far and still 3 mail days left!

Wednesday July 23

Wow, after noon already and I am just now getting to my blog post. I've been working on some pictures for gather and an article. Also in the meantime working on some necessary cleaning and sorting here in the basement. Found some things that were lost that I wasn't looking for, but didn't find what I was looking for.....go figure.
Steve is supposed to be on his way over here to help me get this roll top desk out of the basement. It's been down here for over 50 years and is water logged among many other things and just plain not good for our health to be in here. Once it's gone I will bleach clean the whole area real well.

I finally got myself the lamp I wanted for behind my desk. It was marked down at Wal Mart from $9 to $7.50. Now I can actually see to do my crafts here at my desk!

Tuesday July 22

OMG! The heat is about unbearable this week. Still in the triple digits and going to stay that way.
My son called me yesterday early afternoon to run him some places. I barely got his running done when it was time to take my mom to the doctor. Then after her appt. we put gas in the van and went to 3 stores. It was hot! I was out in it for 5 1/2 hours.

Today's plans include a dentist appointment for Heather,as well as this is her graduation day from her group therapy. Finally one less thing in the planner.

Monday July 21

I was so busy yesterday that I didn't end up doing a blog post! I woke up, went out and got the Sunday paper. The Office Max ad called my name with several great deals on school supplies ranging from 1 cent to 50 cents. I headed out to Office Max right after church. While already out that way I knew I better make my trip to Wal Mart as well.
Once home I was exhausted, it was already 103º before noon. I laid down and took a nap. Once up, we headed to Steve's to swim. Home from Steve's it was time to get supper. Basically my only time online was after supper....but not until after I got everyone down here to the basement to help clean!
I did actually write 2 articles at gather yesterday as well as get my points to cash in for the other $25 Target with boomertowne.

I still plan on shopping at Walgreens for their deals when I take mom up that way to the doctor this afternoon.

Here it is, the weekend. I'm not sure what the plans are for this evening, swimming I am sure.

I'm busy putting in a lot of photos over at gather. I didn't write anything yesterday but I will share a picture of our new kitten.

I'm going to head over now and check to see if I've won anything at mycoolcontests. Then, I'm going to work away at boomertowne. I will be able to cash out today for another $25 Target gift card bringing my total to $150 there!

Friday July 18

Good morning! They are having 2 blocks of yard sales starting in the block next to mine today and tomorrow. Of course I had to go check them out. I am excited, I found a fairly large bag of netting to make scrubbies with! I seen a twin size bed I would loved to have bought for when I can make up the 2nd bedroom here in the basement. Ah, I held off not knowing when this plumbing will be fixed for me to be able to make the other room.

I finally won at mycoolcontests.com! I wrote up about my win with pictures of what I won at gather if you would like to take a look. I still have no referrals there, which each referral will give me an additional entry into the drawing. Maybe reconsider and join and help me out? The program I would like to tell you about today is another traffic exchange. It's been around since 2003 and is a really good one. You earn money while your sites are being seen, 30 cents for each 1000 sites you see with a low minimum payout of $3. I've been paid several times over the years and the traffic is great. You also earn 10 cents once your referral has surfed 100 pages, plus 10% of the credits they earn.

Thursday July 17

Whew! I've been out taking myself, my mom, and my oldest daughter to pick up commodities. Once home I did my walking for the day. It is already hot and sticky outside. Once I am done writing this I am going to jump in the tub before getting to into my online ventures.

Wednesday July 16

Wow, yesterday was a lot busier than I thought. I've been taxi to my mom for over a year, but now I am taxi to my son and oldest daughter as well. I need to get their schedules now too. I felt like all I did was run here, drop off here, pick up here all afternoon and evening yesterday.
I have to make a run and turn in paperwork at the SRS office today. I think other than maybe a short swim there is no other places I need to be, or that I have to take anyone else to.

Yesterday I wrote an article at gather yesterday on re-using tv dinner trays. These articles are for the frugal living and recycling groups that I belong to.

Tuesday-July 15

A bit of a late start on my internet ventures this morning. We had our home visit this morning. All the grandkids spent the night, even the baby, so it was a chore getting them all breakfast and dressed.

No real plans for today. Heather will have her group. Other than that the plan is to swim for a bit at Steve's this evening.

I wrote some things at gather, but nothing of real interest to the general public, so I will put in an image today. It's Heather blowing out her candles for her 17th birthday.

I stayed up past midnight last night, I am working to cash out for another $25 Target with boomertowne by the end of this week. I'm waiting for lunch to be ready then I am going to lay down for a bit...I have a killer toothache that hasn't let up much for over 3 weeks :(

Monday--July 14

Good morning! It's Monday and let's all start the week off well.
No real plans for me outside the house other than taking my mom to her Monday Dr.appt.
I'm going to get started putting together Ariel's birthday present this week as well as getting some cleaning and organizing done down here in my living area.
