......or at least I hope we are! We've had a rough year (2012) with so many different things going on (a wedding, funerals, etc) that we've not gotten in many days that I call full school days. A full school day to me consists of getting out all of the books for all of the subjects and working in each one.
We have yet to have a full day of schoolwork since her return from England, but at least we can say we've touched every subject at least twice per week. It's towards the end of the school year and we do have some books we want to finish. Math and devotions are the only 2 things we have done daily.
Hubby and I ordered her a bunch of workbooks for next year. I have loved Hayes Publishing since I learned about them years ago from another homeschool mom. The workbooks are small but you do have to do some research to find the answers. Each workbook does come with answer pages and a little more info. We bought her a new laptop so she will have access to internet to help her find answers.
One thing with me is that there are just too many times when I am busy. I need to be sewing for my craft business....I'm off doing things for my mom....there are church activities....and I've even taken a little part time job twice a week. With the workbooks she will be able to do a lot of work on her own. Of course I still will be working with her a lot. I would miss it if I didn't!

What happened?? I have not found the time to post for just over a week now. It's been such a busy, crazy, hectic week!!
My mom had extra dr. appts, Avon to deliver etc. My son left his girlfriend so I had to go help him get his stuff. Ariel turned 5. Willo is 2 today. Heather got into the dentist again. We bowled again on Sunday. I had my grandson come stay over a couple of nights. We tried to stay up and watch the meteor shower. My daughter, Heather, has been over a lot. I had sewing club at church. I'm just hoping that I get to stay home today!! Ok, I know I don't as my 12 yr old, Jasmine, is begging to go to the store for blueberry Pop Tarts. If I go to the store then I will want to shop. Yesterday I shopped just for the items on the Nabisco $20 rebate.
So, I was busy off the computer, but also on the computer, just didn't get the blog written due to a lot of the things had me leaving in the AM when I usually post it.
I am off for now, and hopefully it won't be another week before I get a chance to blog again :) Marsha
Good Morning! It did indeed get into the 80's yesterday, it was awesome. I know it will be a bit cooler today but still in the 70's. My computer it showing it to be 57 right now. I'm so glad that Friday is here...and even happier that next week is Spring break week! That means a week of being able to stay up later if I'm not quite finished on here, and not having to have the alarm set in the mornings!
Yesterday was a full day. We found out that Elizabeth is having a boy, which is what we were all hoping for. We did some shopping at Wal Mart after the appointment. I talked my mom into going to the dr. this morning instead of yesterday. We ran so behind by the time we got done running it was time to pick the kids up from school. The van really just needed a rest. I have to hurry and finish typing this and get her to her appt.

Good Morning. It is still morning. I've gotten caught up in doing about 10 things at once both on and off the computer. I cleaned for about an hour, I've been working on things in my group on gather, clicking other sites, and also getting coupons ready in hopes of getting a ride to the store here n a bit. They are having the buy 10 get an extra $5 off sale again this week.

Good morning! It's a crisp chilly morning with no wind. Yesterday was just bad....my son drove over here needing a driver to take him around, I was the only one here. As soon as I got done with him he did get me to my dr. appt. However, no one picked me up and I had to walk home...now that sucked! Thankfully there wasn't much wind, but it was only 30 degrees. I was in a bad mood and my legs felt cold the rest of the evening. Today Heather has her math tutoring so hopefully my daughter will get her there and home. This evening I have church council meeting but I have a man from church picking me up for that.
I am working on some dish scrubbie orders. I need to have those done by tomorrow evening to be off in Saturday's mail. I still have several hair scrunchies to crochet. Some of the scrunchies I am sending to a lady on the Christmas wishlist group who is collecting little things to make stockings for the needy. I also need to get all my Christmas cards addressed and ready to mail as well. This is always such a busy time of the year for everyone.

Good morning. A bit warmer this morning as there was no frost or ice on the windshield. I am getting my gather posts in and my blogs before heading out to take my mom to get her commodity food. Right after that I have to go to work. After work I have to take Heather to her math tutoring. A little later I take my mom to the doctor. And, this evening I have council meeting at church. It means another short day to get things done on the computer. Tomorrow is my payday, which is good, but also shortens the computer day as I need to get a few bills paid and do a little shopping.
I got the 2 orders of scrubbies made, and got the materials bought to finish the order for 12 scrubbies. So, in between my other stuff and clicking on here I will be working on making scrubbies. In fact, I will take the materials with me while I am running others around.
Good morning. Looks like the chilly weather is here to stay. No wind today, which is good, it's the wind that chills me to the bone. My son got over and would you believe all that was wrong with the van was the lug nuts on that one tire were so loose it was about to fall off?? Well, there is something wrong with a bracket to the chasse, but he says that shouldn't fall apart soon, so I can keep praying and keep saving to get something else to drive. I'm so thankful that's all it was and I have transportation again for the time being.
Today starts a busy week. There are extra dr. appts. this week starting with my mom's foot dr appt today. All I can do is "grin and bear it" and get done what I can on the computer when I can.

Election Day. Tuesday my busiest day, but it's not like I couldn't have voted ahead. The plan is to drop Heather off at her math tutoring then my mom and I will go vote while she is there.
Normal Tuesday plans: work, Heather to math tutoring, Mom to the doctor, quick supper and off to my bowling league. Add in today the voting, and this evening Jasmine is jumping for Jump Rope for Heart.

Morning to all. Usually Monday's are pretty good days for me. (Good days mean that I don't have to go many places and have a lot of computer time) That is not the case for this Monday. I had to start out the morning by getting my grandson to school as once again my daughter didn't bother to show up to take him. Then I was informed that my son had to be in court. There went all but an hour of my time on here this morning. It's my mom's social security payday today, so there goes the entire afternoon as I run her around paying bills and such until supper time.
I got the Halloween photos all resized and such to put in to gather yesterday, but it's still not done. So, I don't have a gather post to share today.
I was on that cleaning and organizing thing most of the time I was home yesterday. I am happy to say that all the books that I have up for auction are now all together on a bookshelf versus the boxes they were piled in to. I also took the time to look through them all. I found 3 that were no longer listed. I will get those relisted.
I didn't do anything with squidoo yesterday other than check in a couple of times to approve comments. In fact, most of the time I was online I spent at yuwie approving friend requests, approving comments and sending comments myself. It's getting funner as I go along, but taking up a lot of my time.
For now I need to get ready for work, so I will bid you all adeau for this day. Marsha
Let's start the morning out by my daughter not showing up to take Allen to school and the battery in my van dead. (sigh) Thankfully I remembered Steve is on vacation this week so he just took Allen to school and will come back to jump start my van.
This is my busy day...work, take Heather to math tutoring, take my mom to the dr, have supper and head to the bowling alley. We are short one bowler on our team because one man quit, and another man on our team broke his ankle this week so we have to find him a sub. (sigh again)
I didn't do anymore squidoo lenses yesterday but will try to build a couple more tomorrow.
Now I better stop typing and go get the van ready to be jump started. It's still raining today. The rain is supposed to stop today and the days warm up a bit more the rest of the week.
Well, it ended raining from morning until bedtime last night. I guess that's what happens when it doesn't rain for 3 weeks. It's a bit chilly out today because of the wind. It's going to be a busy day. I'm off to work in 30 minutes. Immediately followed by taking Heather to math tutoring. My daughter took an out of town painting job so that leaves me taking Allen to the dentist this afternoon too. Then, mom's usual trip to the doctor and bowling this evening. I really begin to despise Tuesdays! I love bowling, it's the rest of it that I don't like.
I didn't do much with gather yesterday...uploaded some photos since my video wouldn't go through. I did however do another squidoo lens. Good morning! I reached my cashout with winster this morning for a $5 amazon. Now to see how long it takes to get to the next million to see if I want to continue with the fun of playing. I will add the amazon to what I am saving for a laptop.
I have to be to work in 30 minutes...then the usual Thursday after work...taking Heather to math tutoring and then my mom to the doctor.
I built 3 more lenses over at squidoo yesterday but haven't added them to the side bar here yet. I might get to that later today.
I will be participating in the Under the Rainbow Spooky Celebration this coming Saturday, and then on Wednesday. I will give more information on that tomorrow. We also are still trying to get a little bit together here and there for the yard sale on Saturday. As cool as the mornings are I really don't look forward to setting up shortly after 6 am, but hopefully we can sell a few things.

Here I am after 2 days of not posting. Imagine this...I walked in to work only to find the gal I've been subbing for was back, and they didn't need me on my regular job. Although my boss said I was entitled to my 3 hours whether they needed or wanted me there, I am choosing to stay home and see if I can do some catching up here on the computer. I will still ended up with about 3 1/2 hours or so more than I would have this week. I will have to take Heather to her math tutoring today and my mom to her doctor appointment.
I did get busy on here yesterday afternoon putting in the pics and such from my camera and I got my Teddy Grahams review done on gather. I also got 3 more listings on blujay of some of my mothers items and then got them posted on my Gifts Squidoo lens too.
Here is the video that was to go into my review but for some reason the coding didn't work :( I will post the link to my review with pictures tomorrow.

aahhhh...my last day of work for this week. Thursday's are busy. Work, then take Heather to math tutoring, then take my mom to the doctor...that will be every Thursday for some time. I don't think there is ANYTHING written in my planner tomorrow though. I am in hopes of catching up on my email finally tomorrow. Of course, I had more time on the computer yesterday but I got wrapped up in squidoo, reading what I found to help me start to earn there. There is a LOT to learn, but also a lot of money to be made too. I made another lens yesterday on online parties if you would like to check it out. Online Parties

So much for my non-busy day. I've already had to take my mom to pay the van payment, then to pay the water bill, then to pay the car insurance, and then to the store. I went a little crazy at the store as they are offering on the Box Top and Label for Education items when you buy 15 you get an additional $3 off your grocery bill. You can do the offer up to 3 times in one transaction. I did it twice as I happened to have coupons with me for 30 items. Most items were also on sale. Along with my other groceries, sales, and coupons I spent $89 which was a savings of 42% so I don't think that I did bad at all.
I still have to take Jasmine to her dentist appointment in 1 1/2 hours. We won't hear about approval or non-approval on the loan on that other van until sometime tomorrow. If you are reading this, pray for the best for us on this. I will really be disappointed if it doesn't go through. The people selling it lowered the price to $1000 so that we would have the other $200 to pay the taxes, tags and insurance.

I am not sure if I will get a chance to post tomorrow. The morning starts out taking my mom to get her commodity food, then I am off to work.
