Maker Sewing is the latest craft book by Kate Smith. She is the owner of the thriving Makery sewing cafe workshops in the UK. She's been busy with her needle and sewing machine to ring you this collection of 30-plus sewing projects. The projects span fashion, gifts, and home ideas.
There are several projects in Makery Sewing that I look forward to making:

Makery Sewing is suitable for beginners and is very user friendly. It has clear instructions, time guidelines, handy tips and the required tool lists.
Measurements are given in both metric as well as standard.

Super Sunday Reviews -- Crafty Creatures
Fill Your House With These Crafty Creatures
Crafty Creatures has got to be THE cutest craft book that I own! The best part? The projects are made with scraps and leftovers from other projects :)
It’s really just too much cute. I can’t wait to get started making many of these cute creatures to give to my grandchildren.
There are projects with yarn, felt, and fabric.
I love sock monkeys and instructions on how to make them with a pair of socks is included in the book. Boy couldn’t I have a blast and add a bunch to my collection.

The book also includes instructions and supplies for your sewing kit, how to do the stitches with great illustrations, How to knit also with great illustrations, and even threading a needle and sewing on a button.

I can not say enough good things about this book. I highly recommend it for yourself or as a gift to someone who loves to craft.
I am sad that I don’t have the time I would like to make a bunch of the projects for Christmas gifts. I do look forward to getting on them and giving these as birthday gifts throughout the year to the grandchildren.
I also plan on sitting down with the grandkids and letting them have fun making their own Craft Creatures as well!

Super Sunday Reviews ---Makery by Kate Smith
Makery--Over 30 Projects for the Home, To Wear, and to Give by Kate Smith
Over 30--there are 31 projects in this book. There are some really cool projects, if I must say so myself.
The book is set up into 3 sections: fashion, gifts, and home. Although, anything from any of the sections would make nice handmade gifts.
If you know me, you know that I am all about handmade. There are so many projects in this book that I want to make! Just a few of them are the crocheted slippers, shoulder bag, make-up roll, tablet case, button magnets, tea light ins, and fifties frilly apron.
Makery is 159 pages. Instructions and materials for each projects are clearly and visually laid out. There are 7 pages of stitches and tips at the back of the book as well as a page of stocklists.
It also includes pull-out patterns as pictured below.
Once I get a chance to make some of the things in Makery, I will come back to this post and update it with pictures!

Super Sunday Reviews-- The Minimum Wage Millionaire
The Minimum Wage Millionaire is written by Bill Edgar. The full title is:
The Minimum Wage Millionaire: How a Part Time After School Job Can Change Your Financial Life
Upon first seeing the title, I wondered just how could someone earn minimum wage, but still become a millionaire. It take much reading of the book to see just how it would work.
The book is geared towards teenagers who are just getting in to the job market (and their parents). Start from that young age, especially while still living at home, and I could very well see how the techniques that Bill Edgar teaches in the book, would indeed make you a millionaire.
I wouldn't say this book is ONLY for people just starting out though. I could see anyone who wants to start using his suggestions, gaining immensely from them. You may not come out a millionaire starting later in life, but you would be so much better well off.
