Frugal Friday with Marsha -- Coupons and Deals

I can't think of anything in particular to write about this week, so instead I am going to share some good coupons to print and other good offers.

Frugal Friday With Marsha--Week in Review

The days just fly by!  It's been a busy week as usual.  Of course, I would go stir crazy if I really had nothing to do.

I've been working more on the rug I wrote about in my WIP Wednesday post.  It's not going to get to 52 inches, but I am going to put these more strips in.  I will then contact the gal and see if she wants it the size it ends up.  If not, it will just go up for sale in my Etsy shop.

I was babysitting at my middle daughters last weekend and took this picture of her table and window of plants.  She is going to try to transplant today.  I gave up right away on my own garden.  I could give you 100 reasons why, but none of them are really good enough....although a lot of it is because my seeds didn't sprout at all.

I'm getting a little smarter.  I always get upset when I cant read at night when hubby is in the bed and I can't turn my light on.  I finally started opening up my Kindle app and reading books that way.   Right now I'm reading Pinch Like You Mean It 101 Ways to Save Right Now.
This one is FREE, so why not download it for yourself?  It's interesting and there are some good tips.  Most I already knew, some I hadn't thought of, and some that don't pertain to me at all, but still worth the read.



I received 2 items in (actually 3) this week for review that I will get written soon.  A children's book and 2 Disney Princess Crochet Kits.   I need to get pictures, and hopefully a start on one of the crochet kits.

I found a website that I hope to share with you in a post as well at a later date.  Just wish me luck there for now please.

Frugal Friday With Marsha--Free Ebook!

I'm wanting to get my Frugal Friday posts going again.  I hope to find deals for you as well as share different things I've done over the past week.

This past week what tops my list is cutting up old t-shirts that I will make into rugs.  I cut the top parts that I can't make in to strips up to be rags.  They work very well, can be thrown into the washer with a regular load of clothes.....and they save the environment over not using tons of papers towels!

I posted this picture in my WIP Wednesday post, but will post it again.  It's my huge pile of rags and also my pile of strips for rug making.

"Wow! You Saved How Much?" Review and Giveaway

I've been wanting to read Wow! You Saved How Much?  by Renita Perrone ever since I found out she was writing the book!
I'm excited to be able to do this review and giveaway.

This book is straight forward and realistic on teaching you how you can save hundreds of dollars each month.  Savings not only on groceries, but non-food items as well!
As put to me by the author--she's not added much "fluff" to the book.

I printed out the ebook and now have it in a folder.  The book includes pages at the end to take notes on.

The book is not only about how to make the most out of using coupons and sales, but also many other ways to save money.  There are pages of many little things that you can do to save money.  Little changes that mean a lot to your pocketbook.

If you are new to using coupons, I recommend this book!  If you are a seasoned coupon user, I still highly recommend this book.  It will motivate you to keep going! 

I started using coupons, and doing refunds in 1982.  That was the year I got married.  My mom was highly into coupons and refunds.  She set me up with a box of coupons as well as refund forms.  She even included proofs of purchase I needed to get started with the refunding.  I've been hooked every since.
