Writer's Unite 3/26/15

Catching up is what I feel like I am doing this week!  I am behind on writing reviews and doing giveaways.  I just rec'd a product yesterday to write about this being National Crafting Month.  Now they sent it to me a bit late since this month is about over, but I will work to get their post up today.
I also have another review and giveaway that will go up today.....the same company sent me another product yesterday already.
I love getting all of the free stuff, but am feeling a bit overwhelmed right now.  I have NO idea how the bloggers that put up 2 or 3 posts a day with reviews and giveaways do it....other than they are probably not like me, also doing 12 or more other websites in a day besides blogging.

I am still writing at bubblews.  Only 2 or 3 posts a day.  I had a dream last night that I woke up this morning to an announcement that they are just not going to pay anymore period.  I like the socializing aspect with those who have continued to write there like myself, but do wish I could earn more than 25 cents or more a day.
Recently I've started working some traffic exchanges that offer a chat feature while you surf, so I'm doing a little socializing there, plus there is tsu as well.  However, my daily earnings on tsu are also about half of what they were for awhile.    Sure seems hard to earn anymore.

Writer's Unite 2/12/15

Can it be Thursday already?  February seems to be flying by.  In a way that's good as that means Spring will seem to get here sooner.

I'm reading this week that people who have cashed in at bubblews this month are already receiving their money.  That's a good thing.  One gal was paid only 4 days after redeeming.
Of course it will take months to get up to $50 again, that's a bad thing.
Several of us are still plugging away.  There are even some who are still writing 10 posts a day...something I never did anyway.  I write 2 or 3 a day at the most, I had a couple of days this past week where I wrote 4 in a day.

I'm busy outside the home as usual, but right now it's a lot of unplanned activity as well.  I'm still keeping up with my blog, which makes me happy.  I'm getting in books again for review.  I will share the link to one of those in the linky in case you missed it, and then one of my bubblews posts.

Writer's Unite 1/29/15

I thought I would give my update on the challenge that I was taking part in on bubblews last week.  7 days of writing 6 posts with a minimum of 10 interactions in between each post.
Money was and still is little.  Each day I made a penny or 2 more than the day before, but on day 7 I was still only up to .42 for my efforts.
With that said, I need make some new connections, and reconnected with users that I had lost track of.
I am back to writing 3 posts a day.  3 days now and I've made just about .25 for each day.

Still writing on bubblews, but my heart isn't in to it like it once was, of course. 
Honestly, I'm earning about the same on TSU and I am enjoying myself there immensely.  I also don't feel like I have to be on TSU the entire time that I am on the computer either.

I had the opportunity to write a paid blog post this week.  Those don't come around very often and tend to make me nervous whether I will do a good job for them.  It went well and my invoice is sent in, along with tax paperwork.

Writer's Unite--1/15/15

It's Thursday, time to hop in and link up some of your writing from this past week!

I'm actually a little late getting this post up.  I got sidetracked.  I clicked to share one of my blog posts to twitter, then stayed in twitter for a bit.  I admit that I rarely go there, but I'm going to make it a regular daily stop from now on, finding a few things in my feed each day to click on.

One thing that I found this morning was an ad at the top to boost influencer.  I joined and filled out my profile.  Things have really slowed down for me as far as companies contacting me to post things in my blog.  I'm hoping to change this.  I also updated my account at another site as well.

You may notice that I've started posting a good deal, coupons, giveaways, and such in my blog this week.  I plan to keep that up daily along with my other regular postings.

I'm still writing at bubblews, and still not choosing to sign up for a different writing website....yet.
I am only doing 2 posts a day right now until we see what these changes are all about that are coming up. 
I'm still enjoying TSU.  I'm adding more friends each day, meeting new people, sharing, liking, commenting.  My daily earnings are increasing bit by bit there.  I'm also trying to add more than just links to what I write to make my account more personal.  If you haven't joined TSU yet and would like to give it a try, I would love to have you as one of my children.  You can join HERE.

Writer's Unite 1/8/15

Good Thursday morning!  I hope you all are staying warm.  I was hearing on the radio that it's as much as 30 and 40 below 0 in some places!  We are just below 0 with the wind chill here. 
Are you staying inside where it's warm and writing your heart out?

I've been good so far to write daily here on my blog.  I hope to continue that.
I'm still writing on bubblews...actually writing a bit more since average per post is so low.  I'm under $3 to go before I hit $50 to hit redeem.
I can't help but to be curious as to what these changes are that will come about in February and March.

I know that there are lots of other places where I can write, but bubblews is habit right now.  Plus, I already have so many things that I am trying to do....I already spread myself out too thin.
I want to concentrate more on my blog than writing somewhere else right now too.

Writer's Unite--Welcome to 2015!

Happy New Year!

I feel that there are a lot of us out there who have already been working towards differences in our writing.
For me, I have been working on getting more affiliate links into my posts, in hopes of monetizing my blog more. 
I wrote before about getting a notebook ready to keep track of things that I am doing.  Things such as going back to older blog posts and updating them to add some affiliate links added where I can.
I am writing down as I go back in and edit each blog post.

I have a question for my readers---Over the years I have done a lot of different reviews.  The majority of those reviews included a giveaway.   Would it be ok to edit those posts to remove the giveaway portions of each post and leave them up as just reviews?  Or, is it better if I just leave those alone?

For my blog, I hope to keep up with my regular posting as well as find things to post in addition.  Most especially I want things to post on the days that I don't already have a regular post going up.

The only other place that I write is bubblews.  I'm sure most of you know that pay isn't what it used to be there, and not even close.  I still plan to stay, even with the New Year's Eve announcement.  I still hope that others will also stay with the site as well.

I'm loving TSU!  I'm working on posting more there than just links to my writing and putting in other types of statuses as well.  I just find it a fun place to be.  I follow many hashtags of interest to me such as coupons and quilting.  It's an added plus to earn while socializing.  It takes time to establish connections to see the daily earnings rise.    I've already saved well over $200 just in the deals that others have posted in the couponing hashtags though.

Writer's Unite-- 12/18/14

How is everyone doing this Thursday, just a week before Christmas day? 
The business of holiday preparation has affected my writing this week for sure.   Sunday I thought about my weekly review post---got busy wrapping gifts and didn't think about it again until almost midnight.   Monday morning was a Christmas party with my quilt guild and then work.  Again it was midnight before I realized I hadn't done a post.
For the record, I won't be doing this post next week on Christmas day.

I am still wanting to come up with some regular posts for Saturday and Tuesday.  Probably not posts with linky's like most of my other regular posting.  I have an idea for Saturday--Super Saver Saturday.  Or actually, just post deals that day, doesn't have to have a title except what the deal is.

This week I'm going to choose to share 2 of my recent bubblews posts.    I look forward to what you choose to share!
